I had the privilege of being part of the Plant Maintenance module implementation as a core user during the SAP S/4 HANA version 1809 implementation in FOIRI-based applications in 2020. Since then, I have been providing functional support.

My roles and responsibilities during the implementation and support phase included:

• Compiling and understanding the AS-IS business processes, and redesigning them according to the business requirements and SAP best practices.
• Establishing the TO-BE process in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA 1809 PM version, and conducting a Fit-Gap Analysis.
• Documenting the blueprint, and designing the system accordingly.
• Configuring standard functionalities in SAP PM S/4HANA 1809 and Fiori Apps configuration for maintenance requests, malfunction reports, etc.
• Creating functional specifications for reports, forms, and enhancements. Developing configuration and config rationale documents.
• Preparing end-user manuals and documentation, and conducting classroom training for all business users.
• Providing end-user training, as well as support during the Go-Live and Post-Go-Live phases.

During my tenure from September 2018 to October 2019, I worked in the SBQ Bar Mill as a Roller and Maintenance Engineer, specifically in the operation of the rolling mill.

• I provide technical support for various aspects of setting up new sizes of alloy bars and sections, such as TMT bars, plane rounds, and Garret coils. This includes assisting with stand preparation, guide preparation, and adjusting parameters to ensure optimal setup.
• I have hands-on experience in stock setting and mill setting during section change activities. Additionally, I possess extensive knowledge of conducting quality inspections on alloy steel rolled round bars, RCS, flats, and Garret coils. I adhere to ISO standards to ensure that there are no rolling defects, and maintain a high level of quality assurance.
• During continuous rolling, I am responsible for guide setting and stock maintenance. I closely monitor pass conditions and make necessary adjustments to passes and guides as tonnage is reached. I maintain open communication with the shift in charge to ensure that sizes are maintained within tolerance. Additionally, I monitor billet temperature after de-scaling, during rolling, and during the entry and exit of the cooling bed.
• I implement and maintain a robust sampling plan as per the Control Plan to ensure accurate quality control. In my role, I execute shift activities in the rolling mill process, following the instructions of the department head or section head.
• I actively collect feedback from quality assurance teams during online inspections to identify any deviations from the desired quality standards. Based on this feedback, I take prompt remedial steps to overcome any issues.
• Furthermore, I ensure strict monitoring of inspection parameters in accordance with work instructions and quality plans. Additionally, I allocate work to technicians and fitters under my supervision, ensuring efficient task distribution and completion.

• I have worked in the Steel Integrated Rolling Mill Operation and Maintenance Department, where I have gained valuable experience and expertise.
• One of my key responsibilities is to provide technical support for various tasks, including stand preparation, guide preparation, and adjusting parameters for setting up new sizes of alloy bars and sections, such as TMT bars and plane rounds.
• In my role, I am accountable for executing shift activities in the Rolling mill process, I closely follow the instructions provided by the Department Head or Section Head to ensure smooth operations and efficient production.
• I possess extensive knowledge and expertise in conducting quality inspections of alloy steel rolled round bars, RCS, and flats. I adhere strictly to ISO standards to ensure that the products meet the required quality standards and are free from rolling defects. Maintaining high-quality standards is a top priority for me.
• Overall, my experience and expertise in the Rolling Mill Operation and Maintenance Department, along with my proficiency in providing technical support and conducting quality inspections, enable me to contribute effectively to the success of the operation.

• I have had the privilege of working in the Foundry Marketing and Sales Department, where my primary focus was on casting engine blocks and heads, as well as overseeing dispatch and sales activities.
• In this role, I played a crucial part in marketing and promoting our foundry's engine blocks and heads. I utilized my sales skills to effectively communicate the unique features and benefits of our castings to potential customers. This involved engaging with clients, understanding their requirements, and providing them with tailored solutions.
• Furthermore, I managed the dispatch activities, ensuring that the engine blocks and heads were properly packaged and delivered to customers in a timely manner. I coordinated with logistics teams to optimize transportation and maintain efficient delivery schedules.
• In addition to sales and dispatch, I also actively contributed to the overall sales strategy and business development initiatives of the Foundry Marketing and Sales Department. This involved conducting market research, identifying new opportunities, and developing strategies to expand our customer base.
• Overall, my experience in the Foundry Marketing and Sales Department has allowed me to hone my skills in sales, customer relationship management, and business development, while ensuring the smooth and efficient dispatch of engine blocks and heads to our valued customers.
