Responsiblities:

• Almost 800+ databases are being monitored for FICO. Ranging different applications in all DEV, ORT, CORT, CQA and Production environments.
• Database administrator responsibility includes installing s/w, migrating/upgrade to new releases, applying patches and addressing database-level performance issues,building a dataguard environment, setting Golden Gate replication, etc.
• Fast respond, resolve and investigate critical DB production issues, conduct in-depth root cause analysis, and implement the proper solution.
• Manage MySQL replication, lag monitoring, failover, slave promotion, backup, and recovery.
• Configuration of Replication Server, Master-Master Replication, Master-Master-Slave Replication
• Troubleshoot Couchbase DB issues, maintain availability & scalability (replication, cluster) at Non-production and production sites.
• Developed some Unix Shell scripts to automate database operations and database monitoring.
• Performing Logical backup using Export utility & recovering specific schemas/objects using the Import utility.

Database administrator responsibility includes installing oracle s/w, migrate/upgrade to new releases and Database level Performance issue solving, Building dataguard environment, setting Golden gate replication etc.

• Install and configure Oracle Server Software RHEL/LINUX.
• Monitoring databases using OEM (12c).
