As the Global Software Program Management Office (PMO) Lead for Philips Computed Tomography (CT), I lead a global team of SW PMO with 8 team members in India and China, which includes a Release Train Engineer (RTE) and SW Program Managers managing all NPI and IB programs across the entire CT product portfolio.
Mentored and coached the project and program managers, and set the framework and governance structure for KPI and metrics-based reporting, managing, and executing different NPI and field upgrade programs.
Owned and drove the implementation of the SW Program Roadmap for CT Products across the portfolio.
Drove Agile Transformation in the organization with SAFe Agile deployment and alignment between the different software teams across India, Israel, the USA, and China.
Successfully led the PMO team to deliver multiple Field Change Order (FCO) releases and New Product Introductions (NPI) to Premium, and Performance CT products.
Owned Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the Resource Allocation (200+ engineers) and Budget Management (~€15 million) for CT Bangalore, Shenyang, and Suzhou.
Delivered the following Philips CT products as a Software R&D Program Manager, working closely with stakeholders from across the globe (USA, Israel, Netherlands, and China):
World’s first spectral detector, Angio CT solution, with which Philips ventures into a new market segment with a potential market size of 70 systems per year (~€2M per system) – 2020 to 2022.
Refresh program, with Windows 10 OS and major cybersecurity solutions, as well as interventional controls targeting 3,000+ units of lower premium and upper performance segment products from 2018 to 2019.
Big Bore on Rails, first of its kind (FOK) product for Mayo Clinic, as a precursor for the new Angio CT development - 2018.
Big Bore Radiation Oncology CT Product Release for Volume Delivery with 500+ units in the mid-performance segment from 2017 to 2018.
Field Change Order (FCO) releases for iCT and Ingenuity products – 2017.
Participated in multiple Philips internal and external regulatory audits, as well as FDA audits, and ensured there were no NCs for the CT Software team each time.
As Sr. Technical Specialist designed and developed features for the different software programs using C# .NET, WCF and WPF technologies and played the role of technical/ project lead and software integrator for successful releases between the years 2010 to 2015.
