Worked in R&D section at Nissan Technical Centre (Japan) for 1.9 years. Handled fuel brake piping design and development for many key projects for Nissan Passenger/truck Vehicles
As a Lead Design engineer, I'm responsible for end-to-end design and development of Fuel and Brake piping components for various regions such as JPN, EUR, USA, PRC & GOM regions. Some of my key responsibilities include:
Designing and development of piping for Conventional and Electric passenger / truck vehicle
Designing includes : detailed 3D design of Brake pipes, Fuel pipes, Drain hose canister and fixing brackets
Detailed drafting of piping and its components
Complete design and development of piping components working in tandem with Vehicle calibration teams, Program Management teams, Plant assembly teams, Suppliers, and Purchasing
Design Release activities through Teamcenter
Collaborating with suppliers to ensure brake components meet performance ,cost and manufacturing requirements
Using NXCAD to create the Routings and bracket esign of brake system components
Analyzing the strength and stiffness of the bracket to Withstand various loads and stress
Ensuring the bracket is cost-efficient by ensuring safety and performance
worked in 333 activities means cost reduction ideas and design optimization
End to end: Managing milestones as per project master schedule, design studies and drawing releases along with creating component specific DFMEA, sourcing and supplier agreement documentation
