• Safety round of plant to observe the unsafe act/condition.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and advice corrective actions.
• Take part in onsite emergency mock drill.
• Oversee and carry out onsite tool box talks and enforce observations.
• Carry out daily safety checks; police the work areas with regard to HSE, offer advice and direction to the entire workforce.
• Activities executed during weekly/ daily basis.
• Review work allocation and ensure no conflicting activities.
• Encourage near miss and incident reporting in order to identify and rectify unsafe trends.
• Carrying out daily safety inspections to identify unsafe working conditions, unsafe practices and unsafe equipment.
• Implementation of safe system and procedures of work.
• Ensure the approved personal safety protective equipment’s used by the employees, conducting safety tool box meeting, and weekly safety walk through, preparation of daily safety report, EHS monthly report, site safety auditing and follow up.
• Monitoring of safety performances, emergency procedure and work permit procedure.
• Ensure Method statements, Risk Assessments and Tool Box Talks were in place and adhered to.
• Continuously striving to achieve zero accidents and incidents throughout the plant & projects.
