· R and D activities:

Developed basic formulation skills in organic inorganic and bio fertilizer product.

· Process QA & QC Activities:

Conducted QA/QC analysis of raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and by-products in fertilizer division and the petrochemical division, including Phosphoric acid, Rock phosphate, Benzene, Ammonia, Hydroxylamine Sulfate, Sulfuric acid, oleum, Nitric acid, Factamfos and Caprolactam.

· Offsite Analysis:

Analysis of Industrial water (DM unit, High-pressure boilers, Cooling towers), Purity of Nitrogen from Nitrogen plant, Microbiological analysis of industrial cooling water.

· Pollution control & statutory analysis:

Analysis of raw and biologically treated (Aerobic and Anaerobic process) effluents, stack emissions-gas emissions like Sulphur dioxide, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxides, Oxygen level analysis for safety permits and activity of water purification resin, lime and alum analysis.

· Documentation:

Documentation and reporting of analysis results, nonconformance handing as per document procedures adhering to ISO standards. Data management based on SAP ERP and maintenance of measuring and analytical instruments as per ISO/IEC guideline.

· Instrumental Methods of Chemical Analysis:

Hands-on experience in analysis, and maintenance of modern analytical instruments like

Gas Chromatography TCD & FID (Agilent Models 8890 & 6890 Series), AAS GBC Avanta, UV-VIS Spectrophotometer (Agilent/VARIAN- CARY 100 Conc), Abbeys Refractometer (ATAGO - 3T).

Karl Fisher Titrator (Metrohm- 870 KF Titrino plus & SI Analytics-TitroLine 7500 KF),

Amperometric auto titrator (Metrohm-865 Dosimat plus), Density meter (PAAR - DMA 48), Portable Oxygen Gas analyzer (Teledyne 3110), Portable Moisture analyzer (PANAMETRICS- SYSTEM 280),

• Water analysis involves testing for - (Nitrate, TDS, pH, BOD, COD, Sulphate, oil, Phosphorous, Total hardness, Alkalinity, Salinity, Turbidity and all trace elements).
• Nutritional analysis of food products involves determining - Moisture content, Ash content, Crude protein, Fat, Fiber, Carbohydrate and mineral analysis.
• Analysis of samples of curcumin, black pepper, caffeine, FAME analysis, and essential oils.
• Instruments handled in the training program: GC-FID (Model: Agilent 7820 A, Software: EZ Chrome Detector: FID), GC-MS (GCMS QP 2010 plus, Software: GCMS Realtime).
