• Managing the NetApp and HP 3PAR storages, and responsible for all the L2 and L3+ support activities.
• Managing NetApp AFF800, AFF-220 storages with FC and iSCSI protocols.
• Upgrading Data Ontap 9.2, 9.5, OCUM9.1, Disk FW, prechecks on Interoperability Matrix Tool
• Provisioning New Volumes/LUNs, iSCSI Backup disk, mapping/un-mapping to Igroups
• Managing Disk failures, Aggregate space, volume snapshot space, Snap vault & Snap mirroring
• Cisco MDS-9148 SAN switch zoning, FC-Alias Creation, Zoneset Creation, new config
• Monitoring the storage aggregate & volume Utilization, health & performance parameters like IOPS, Latency, Throughput
• Responsible for usable capacity calculation of storages to add new disks periodically

Storage Management and Administration.

• Deploy, configure, and maintain NetApp storage systems (AFF, FAS, ONTAP, etc.).
• Perform storage provisioning, including volume and LUN creation, snapshot management, and quota allocation.
• Monitor storage performance and capacity utilization, ensuring efficiency.
• Manage storage efficiency features, like deduplication, compression, and thin provisioning.
• Analyze and optimize storage performance using tools like NetApp Active IQ, Unified Manager, and System Manager.
• Identify bottlenecks and resolve latency issues in storage networks.

• Manage access control, authentication, and encryption for data security.
• Regularly patch and update NetApp storage firmware and ONTAP versions to maintain security.
• Maintain documentation for storage configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Generate reports on storage health, performance, and capacity planning.
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams on storage best practices.
• Work closely with application, network, and server teams to ensure seamless storage integration.
• Engage with NetApp support for troubleshooting complex storage issues.

Data Center Operations & Maintenance

• Monitor and maintain servers, storage, and networking equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Perform hardware and software upgrades, firmware updates, and routine patching.
• Conduct daily health checks on infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security systems.
• Respond to alerts and incidents, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
• Configure and manage storage solutions (SAN, NAS, DAS, NetApp, HPE 3PAR, Dell EMC, etc.).
• Monitor disk usage, performance, and capacity planning.
• Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup).
• Ensure data center security, including access controls, surveillance, and biometric authentication.
• Monitor and optimize UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), cooling systems, and generators.
• Ensure proper airflow and temperature control to prevent hardware failures.
• Work with facilities teams to plan power redundancy and failover strategies.
