Project Description:

The MIDA project is an initiative to migrate and replace over 250 outdated interfaces. It will primarily replace the IGDOM and VDWH systems. MIDA collects vehicle data from various manufacturing plants and stores it centrally. This data, which is organized using the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or chassis number, is accessed by various external systems through APIs and Cloud datasets (AWS S3).

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Worked closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Project Description:

IG_DOM system receives vehicle information data from different manufacturing plants and maintains the data centrally. The IG_DOM database stores data of vehicles produced within the BMW Group (Cars and Motorcy-cles).

IG_DOM system is being used by different systems for the vehicle information documentation (Product Master Data, Order and Distribution Data, Warranty relevant Data). The data stored in DOM is dependent on the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or chassis number.

Project Description:

LTERM is the system which is responsible for dating of part numbers in the plants i.e. what the run in date of the part number will be. The bill of material (parts list) reaches LTERM every day from the TAIS system (Master data) through change list popularly known as NRCL and stored in LTERM workbaskets called AVO. The change coordinator in the assembly plants in consultation with the people in the launch control records the effective date for the part number. To perform the dating tasks the LTERM user is provided with a number of tools. The dating information is then interfaced to all related systems like MSTAIS, SPAB.

Basically, LTERM takes care of two very important activities NRCL distribution and the logistical dating of parts list. Apart from these Lterm provides several other functionalities related to processing of orders like

Online demand calculation by securing the demand planning on basis of the current parts list available with intranet.

  • Analyzed LTERM programs to address user request incidents promptly.
  • Resolved NRCL distribution issues and optimized work basket processes for plant users.

The system BFFZ is the complete stock management for vehicles at BMW. This system tracks the Production data, stock data and invoice data centrally. It provides stock and invoice data to IVP and GUE confirmation to FW (Fakturensammler).

BFFZ receives the vehicle production data from EINSTEIN and COP on a daily basis and provides Manufacturing and Material costs to all STARD plants on a daily basis. Each and every vehicle in BFFZ gets the cost value from ZHK-DB and price value from TPDB.

The project GFS is primarily responsible for maintaining and development of Danske Bank group accounting systems. Like every other it-department GFS has a corresponding group of users in the Danske Bank Group. These users are in the case of GFS Group Accounts (Koncern Økonomi). Project Description:

The Operation-65 Finance systems are used to process personal line policies. Policy types include Automobile, Homeowners, Fire and General lines in the United States. The process involves Batch programs, which updates the master files for each division every night. The programs also generate certain entries such as interest, fees, and charge-off of interest, fees and premium.

OP65 Finance system generates the necessary bills and credit notices for collection of premium once the policy premium is posted. If the premium is not paid when due the system automatically generates a cancellation transaction and refers the policy to an attorney for the collection of outstanding premium.

The objective of this project is to minimize the storage cost of the personal market claims in ACES purge database (DB2 tables). This can be achieved by archiving the purged claims to TAPE media and then deleting them permanently from TAPE.

And also it retrieves claims from tape (archive) When Users Requested their Information for single and bulk conversion requests, finally a report file containing the details of the deleted claims will be produced.
