I have been leading the connectivity team to delegate and give resolutions to all the gen3 WLAN SA8155 qualcomm chipsets related customer issues.
Recently worked on Android WiFi framework/HAL architecture to support and resolve the Vendor and QSSI split source tree dependencies and the architecture approach for vendor HAL and HIDL stack implementation for WLAN.
Currently working with various customers on WLAN full stack issues ,stability, connectivity ,regulatory, WiFi HAL, scanning, hostapd issues in the stack.

Worked on the new generation wireless medical devices to support WiFi 6 features and currently completed integrating WPA3 feature like SAE, FT-SAE, SuiteB-192 bit and OWE support on the same for more robust security and to keep the devices up to date with latest available wireless security.
Worked on the WLAN power optimization using the available TWT protocol to have more voice talk time and also optimizing the PM suspend/resume routines for sdio-mmc module.

Worked on synaptics Wi-Fi 6 radio to emerge with value adds on TWT and implementing the same by fine tuning the target wake time parameters and by effectively establishing/managing TWT session over voice call during connection and roam. Which reduced the power consumption during voice call by 50%.
Worked on softap (11ac) throughput analysis to understand and root cause the latency or jitter, packet loss. Tweaked the dhcp thread design in driver to improve the throughput and worked with Synaptics team to fine tune further on Tx power.
Implemented SoftAp value adds into zebra's propreitary framework stack and also modified the Android framework wifi and HAL to achieve additional softap features.
Worked on optimizing the voice call (UAPSD/Tspec) sessions as part of zebra value adds which in turn decreased the roam time and increased the voice quality.

Implemented the regulatory value adds over 802.11D on STA/SoftAp/P2p interfaces like providing the channel masking/country option to user and developed the optimal country acquisition and scanning algorithm in qcom/bcmdhd drivers. Later implemented the same in middleware layer to completely reduce porting effort.
Implemented the value adds in roam optimization by taking advantages of 11k, 11v and 11r 802.11 protocols and studying/tweaking the roam parameters such as roam triggers, rssi thresholds, dwell time, off channel full/partial scan and band preference parameters to select best roam candidate and reduced roam time.
Implemented disconnect suppression value add in driver which helps to sustain connection for few seconds during out of range, beacon loss and other deauth reasons. Later implemented the same in wpa_supplicant.

And also played the role of SME in handling security vulnerabilities and threats in WLAN.
