- Doing routine MRI Studies (Head and Brain studies, Spine and Musculoskeletal studies).
- Doing all CT routine, contrast enhanced studies and all CT Angiograms.
- Doing all cases and special procedures in X-Ray (Upper limb and lower limb X-Rays in both departmental and portable musculoskeletal studies.
- Doing fluoroscopic special procedures (Barium studies, HSG, Uro radiology procedures-RGU & MCU in both pediatrics and adults.
- Mammographic views including spot views under less exposure with patient care.
- Verifying patient identity and reviewing physician’s orders before radiology procedures.
- Cross check the patient identity (Full name, Age, Sex, UHID).
- Handling phone calls from doctors, ward and patients to answer technical questions and offer pre and post procedure guidance.
- Uses performance improvement plan to improve patient safety.
- Providing radiation protection to the patient.
- Assists physicians in administrating opaque media.
- Collect and informs the patient history to Radiologists.
- Assists in CT Angiograms like 128 slice Cardiac CT Angiograms, Cerebral Angiograms, Pulmonary Angiograms, Renal and Abdominal Angiograms, Peripheral Angiograms with senior technologists.
- Assists in Aortograms and Venograms.
- Assists in USG guided CT Biopsies with Radiologists and Senior Radiology Technologists.
- Applies knowledge of physics and accessories.
- Film evaluation, pathologic evaluation, managing Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS).
- Assists radiologists and senior technologists in CT biopsies.
- Performs all exams in accordance with the department manual.
- Access the radiation risk to the patient and ensure it is kept as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA) principle and access any additional risk involved to your modality. Know how to adapt techniques accordingly.
- Doing all Emergency cases like Head, Spine, Chest and Extremities.
