Roles & Responsibilities :

• Lead waste management initiatives, overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive strategies to optimize recycling processes and minimize landfill waste.
• Implemented innovative technologies and best practices to enhance efficiency in waste collection, segregation, and transportation processes.
• Managed a team of field personnel, providing guidance and supervision to ensure smooth project operations and compliance with safety protocols.
• Conducted waste audits and assessments to identify opportunities for waste reduction and improved recycling rates, resulting in a 20% increase in recycling efficiency.
• Managed internal and external stakeholders, customers, and government authorities.
• To track the financial aspects of the projects, to coordinate and adjust the work effort with the project team.
• Applying national waste strategy and policy to inform plans for waste collection, disposal, minimization, and recycling.

Project : Municipal Waste Management, Ajman, UAE.

Client : Ajman Municipality & Planning Department, Ajman, UAE.
Roles & Responsibilities:

• To develop Solid Waste Management plans which aim that the overall approach to the Solid Waste Management all across the site should be environmentally and economically sustainable.
• Supervise a team of employees and operators in their job performance, conduct motivating sessions to improve the quality and quantity of work when required
• To assist in developing, promoting, and implementing the waste Collection and transportation.
• Responsible for all day-to-day aspects relating to the Client’s Management and Maintenance of the cleaning services within the contract specification to be agreed performance, Qualitative and Financial Targets.
• Assist in budget preparation and administration, including determining financial methods, procedures, and costs pertaining to environmental compliance and waste management services.
• Observe and enforce EHS rules and regulations, promote EHS awareness, proper usage of PPE items
• Assist in planning and monitoring the daily needs of consumables, tools and equipment for operation.
• Carry out weekly cleaning audits to monitor cleaner’s performance and adherence to Company standards.
• To develop a monthly Action Plan/Rolling Plan for work allocation to the cleaning team, keeping within the specified details of the contract, the financial budget and working principles.

Project : Finished Goods Warehouse PEB structure extension.

Client : Mondelez India Foods Pvt Ltd, Sricity, Tada, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conducting Safety group meetings to coach the workforce on the company HSEMS, policies, emergency procedures, HSE procedures, standards, guidelines, and other HSE documents related to sites.
• Ensure that all activities are carried out safely and in adherence to the company safety policy, statutory regulations and guidelines onsite.
• Perform site inspections focusing on housekeeping, hygiene, fire prevention, welfare facilities, first aid provisions and safe working practices.
• Conducting periodic HSE inspections, and audits at the workplaces and reviewing the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive actions for continual improvement.
• Conducting investigations on accidents, near-miss, incidents and recording the findings as per the company guidelines to involve preparation of reports, improvement plans, preventive actions etc.
• Monitoring activities of Permit-To-Work system and ensuring that it complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
• Providing periodic refreshment training in order to ensure maximum safety at the workplace and to achieve Lost Time Injury free manhours during the project execution hours.
• Provide HSE support and guidance to the project team to ensure and promote “Zero Accidents” philosophy.
• Assists Project Management to ensure the workforce is in compliance with HSE standards, company HSE regulations and policies.

Project : "Legacy waste management and biomining of existing waste at Bhandewadi dumping yard”, Nagpur.

Client : Nagpur Municipal Corporation, nagpur, Maharashtra, India

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Handle all landfill activities as per SWM rules, 2016 and Legacy waste guidelines, 2019.
• Proactively plan and execute all daily, weekly and monthly landfill activities i.e., windrow formation, pre-processing, inward material status, output quality, leachate management, etc.,
• Analyze and maintain all laboratory activities as per Standard Operating Procedures and interpret the results to ensure inward material status, and output quality that adheres to the guidelines.
• Coordinate monthly field surveys, and environmental monitoring (Air Quality, Water Quality and Noise Quality) for sampling and analyzed results to ensure that measured parameters adhere to regulatory standards.
• Promote best HSE practices throughout the site and establish good communication for the control of hazards and emergency situations.
• Identify all activities and establish procedures, instructions and signs to control the operations safely.
• Coordinate with department managers/supervisors to conduct risk assessments and ensure that the risks are controlled and communicated.
• Ensure sufficient facilities, First Aid kits and FFEs are placed in and around the plant and flammable zones.
• Take control of emergencies, accidents or incidents if any and ensure that are reported and investigated.
• Conduct regular Tool Box Talk with all employees to uphold safety standards and achieve zero incidents and accidents.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with a wide range of diverse background and skill sets.
