- Define and implement the Company Security Policies & Procedures for the premises.
- To create and Revision of these manuals, as and when required to improve the Security processes.
- Training of Security Team on department aspects as defined in the security and Fire & Life Safety Manual.
- Responsible for effective deployment of Security Guards in proper places to seal all points from theft, burglary, pilferage, and Fire risk.
- Conduct routine Security and Fire Safety audit of the processes involved and improvement in the access Control process.
- Training of Security Staff on the various aspects related with the Access Control.
- To safeguard the immovable and moveable property of the Company to take every precaution against theft and misappropriation of the machines, materials and other property of the Company.
- Establishes operational procedures for activities such as traffic control, guarding and patrolling the Company assets
- Orienting and monitoring of personnel involved with classified information and investigation of accidents and criminal acts.
- To Supervise the duties of the Security Manager, Officer, Field Officers, Security Supervisors (Workshop) / Security Guards and to check their uniforms are tidy, neat, and clean condition.
- To check the Duty Roster and the Attendance Register of the Security Manager, Officer, Field Officers, Security Supervisors (Workshop) / Security Guards regularly keep watch on the movement and duties of the Security Guards.
- To supervise the traffic controlling and Parking system of the Company premises.
- Oversee the smooth and congestion free flow of the vehicular traffic in and out of the premises,
- Records and strictly controls the issuance of all master keys and other keys within the Company according to the established key policies and procedures and to report any discrepancy immediately to the Concern In-charges (Stores)
- Vehicle Checklist generation and Maintenance record of the vehicles/ BOV’s, Audit of the services at Office Building Locations
- Oversees the punctuality and appearance of all Security personnel, making sure that they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, according to the Company and department’s grooming standard.
- Maximizes employee productivity using multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the patients.
- Handles investigation and reports all claims regarding thefts, accidents, injury, property damage, vandalism and trespassing from the local population with the assistance of local police if necessary.
- To ensure cost control and cost-effective operations and planning of the department.
- Ensures that employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to employee rules and regulations.
- Maintains positives employees and colleagues’ interactions with good working relationships and any other role assigned by the reporting in charge.Leading on how the facility meets its statutory obligations in respect of fire safety and advising the management regarding the effects of new or amended legislation and on the effectiveness of compliance.
- Developing appropriate strategies, guidance, and codes of practice to facilitate effective implementation of the Company’s Security & Fire Safety Policy.
- Communicating with Senior Management regarding their responsibilities and the arrangements they need to have in place to manage the security management effectively.
- Providing in-house training and instruction, including facilitating support to departments in carrying out regular Security drills
- Monitoring and auditing the implementation of Security polies, procedures, and codes of practice
- Submitting regular reports to the Senior Management and attending these and other relevant internal meetings and working groups.
- Managing the workload, priorities, and performance of the Security Team, developing, setting, and reviewing performance standards and targets as necessary.
- Suspending activities, including restricting or prohibiting the use of buildings, if they believe there is a serious and imminent risk of Security of Assets and employees.
Planning and implementing a risk-based program of inspections of facility premises to monitor continued compliance with statutory requirements.
- Overseeing the maintenance of comprehensive records regarding all Security related provisions and activities, for inspection by the relevant top authorities.
- Knowledge of safety and security, in the premises, knowledge of latest fire safety equipment installation & operation, knowledge of CCTV installation & operation.
