As part of the SRE team, my responsibilities are to make DSM SaaS reliable and highly available application for our customers.

• Handle Cluster upgrades and issues related to latencies and availability.
• Improve Observability of application, logs, traces and metrics.
• Evaluate open-source tools and productionize.
• Automation - Developed Upgrade Pre-Checks script which has helped SaaS and On-prem customers to have smooth upgrade experience. This has reduced incidents related to upgrade by 80%.

• Support Specialist for OMS and EMS Tier 1 Front office Equity Trading Applications running on 140+ servers, responsible for overall availability of servers and 20+ applications.
• Designed and developed backend API using Python web framework and integrated with group chat to handle service requests from business users, which eliminated 10 hours of manual tasks per month.
• Troubleshooting process failures and performing root cause analysis in collaboration with the development team.

• As a startup company goal of the project was to build a fund management system that involves market research and development of a new product which is based on Tally to manage the end-to-end flow of funds.
• Fully Customize Tally ERP 9 package to incorporate capabilities that can take care of financial transactions and also integrate with a reporting tool to provide reports to business partners and to come up with HO (Head Office) product to process large volumes of transactions and provide Centralized view of data across Organization.

Murex Application Support and Maintenance [ABN AMRO BANK]

Responsibilities :

• Developed shell and SQL/PLSQL scripts to perform Data Quality checks and post release checks which reduced SLA breaches by 50%.
