To work closely with the Head of Projects in implementing the MEP works in the site. Evaluate projects along with Designers, Architects & Project Managers.

• Coordinate with the in-house Design Management department on project Electrical /Plumbing/Firefighting issues.

• Material procurement evaluations of Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing from Vendors

• To estimate the budget and to control in implementing MEP works in the site

• Responsible for technical evaluations of Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing for Vendor quotations.

• Reviews project contract documents and monitors construction activities to ensure compliance

• Monitors and/or evaluates electrical tests such as ground-fault, ground resistance, insulation resistance, polarity, continuity, capacity, load and other electrical field tests as required.

• Exercises ability to interpret single-line and/or schematic electrical drawings as well as plans and specifications.

• Field checks installation and location of electrical equipment, electrical duct, conduit, cable, panels and other components of the electrical system being installed. Assures compliance with approved submittals.

• Based on design proposals, carry out techno-commercial negotiations for various MEP works.

• Monitors all electrical installations to assure circuitry phasing, equipment, and grounding adhere to construction documents and National Electric Code requirements.

• To Evaluate Mechanical design documents, specifications, BOQs, variations, scope of works according to standards, regulations and as per the site conditions.

• Verifies equipment settings, alignment, and testing and energization requirements.

• Provides general inspection on all contractor and subcontractor work to assure a safe and workman like operation.

• Preparation of shop drawing on AutoCAD for HVAC, Fire Fighting, Electrical & Plumbing.
• Preparation of HVAC, Domestic Water Supply, Sanitary, Drainage & Fire Fighting drawings etc.
• Preparation of Electrical
• Installation of HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting works and Co-ordination, with Consultant, Architect for execution of site work and Material Approval.
• Inspection and Supervision on site as per approved shop drawing and coordinating with Supervisors to solve the problem related with Design and Drawing.
• Preparation of Landscaping, Drainage, Surface Water Site Plan Drawing. etc.
• Prepare progress report and other related reports during all stages of constructions.
• Co-ordination with suppliers to ensures correct and timely delivery of materials

HVAC:

• Responsible for designing of Plumbing systems, HVAC System & Fire Fighting.
• Design HVAC System for Wall Mounted Split unit, duct able Split Unit & Package Unit with required capacity.
• Design HVAC System of capacity up to 50 TR.
• Preparation of Duct design & duct size calculation.
• Preparation of Material Submittal, Method Statement, Shop drawing, Project Schedule and planning.
• Handled multiple projects simultaneously.
• Manage installation of ducts for ventilation purposes.
• Co-ordination with consultant for submittal and approval of material equipment.
• Perform regular inspection all materials and works for all plumbing activities.
• Execution of Ducting, Piping, installation and commissioning of centralized air conditioning, Splits and Package A/C units.

FIRE FIGHTING:

• Design Fire Fighting System for pipe, Hose reel, Sprinkler, FM200 & Extinguisher.
• Design and install fire safety equipment.

ELECTRICAL:

• Maximum demand estimation and deciding voltage level.
• Design of earthing & lightning protection system.
• Selection of Transformer/DG capacity and number with necessary metering & protection.
• Selecting the location of load centre& captive power generation station.
• Preparation of detailed main single line schematic.
• Short circuit & voltage drop calculation at each level of distribution.
• Design of earthing & lightning protection system.
• Design of fire safety in substation, cable trenches and other parts of electrical system.
• Preparation of Power & Control cable schedule.

Preparation of building plan & equipment layout such as:

1. Point of supply and Cable trench layout.

2. DG & Main LT electrical room layout.

3. Earthing scheme & earthing layout

4. Lighting, Power& UPS layout with distribution scheme.

PLUMBING:

• Design Plumbing systems including sanitary waste, vent, storm, domestic water distribution systems, and purified water systems.
• Material used in Plumbing System is PPR, PVC, CPVC & UPVC.
• Monitor installation and perform tests on various water and sewage lines for all residential and commercial buildings.
• Experience with sanitary waste & vent, hot and cold water & storm water.

• Wrote and revised maintenance procedures.
• Conducted research to test and analyze feasibility, design, operation and performance of equipment, components, and systems.
• Suggested cost saving proposals on make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing.

Evaluate

• Go through requisite procedures, plan and prioritize activities for the day based on work plan received from supervisor.
• Ensure Supervision of preventive maintenance of process and utility equipment as per the schedules.
• Supervision of preventive maintenance / maintenance works of water systems.
• Supervision of all maintenance works in shifts.
• Inspection of the equipment / materials received at engineering stores.
• Verification of quantity and quality of works done by all contractors.
• Ensuring the usage of safety gadgets by work force.
• Ensuring work permits raised for Hot work, work at height, vessel entry, general work permits etc.
• Ensuring the smooth operation & maintenance of water systems.
• Ensuring the smooth operation & maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Timely reporting of abnormalities/ Deviations to the immediate supervisor/ appropriate authorities

Documentation

• Ensure and aware of plant and equipment layouts, block layouts, site layouts and P&ID’s for the documentation requirements.
• Updating the documentation on daily basis which includes preventive maintenance, history cards, Break down maintenance, qualification and SOPs.
• Preparation of Validation schedules and execution as per the procedures.
• Preparation of Master equipment lists in the plant as per the procedures.

Coordination

• Understand the requirements of the User departments and prioritizing the works based on the business need and urgency.

Training

• Successful completion of assigned trainings and application of the same at workplace.d final product's overall performance, reliability and safety.

• Conducted research to test and analyze feasibility, design, operation and performance of equipment, components, and systems.
• Wrote and revised maintenance procedures.
• Conducted tolerance analysis at system and subsystem levels.
• Suggested cost saving proposals on make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing.
• Handling of Installed equipment like DG Sets, Compressors, Boiler, DM Plant, Handling every type of audit and inspection related to maintenance.
• Good Knowledge of sterilizer Plant equipment - SS/GL reactors & Expertise in the maintenance of weld shop.
• Preventive Maintenance, predictive maintenance, and proactive maintenance of all plant equipment.
• Handling skilled manpower and administration of the entire department. Improvements in a breakdown in the entire plant by Works’ study.

• Responsible for Line balancing for new line & Existing production line. Organizing quality circles in the department.
• Examine the needs for training and provide on-the-job training to departmental personnel.
• Troubleshooting and solving technical problems.
• Analysis of daily tool consumption and generation of maintenance reports. Preserve discipline according to safety rules.
• Ensure inventory of Spare parts for plant equipment.
