Pacific Press-Was in charge of putting finished coils through a gage that would then fall into a conveyor that went to a machine where a robot arm would grab the coils, about 4 at a time, and compress the coils to a specific calibrated setting, the coil would go down the line get dunked into a tank to get coated in an epoxy to prevent rusting and then finally thrown into a box for later sorting.
Jumping Jack- This was another machine that would compress the bigger coils down to a specific height, this one was more hands on, where we would grab about 2 to 4 coils line them up in the proper spots in the machine, and press the button that would make the machine go, and compress the springs, when they're done being compressed, I would measure the height with a gage, and palletize it in a box for shipping to receive it,
Shear Operator- Was trained and operated a machine that would cut metal bars to a specific length, I would grab 3 bars at a time run them through the machine and cut each bar about 2 to 3 times depending on the length of the cut.
Warehouse- When the warehouse needed help I would go over and palletize coils, where I would grab each coil out of the box check for clear stamps and quality, taking out and scapping any bad coils.

As an on site supervisor my job duties and responsibilities everyday were to.
• In charge of taking attendance.
• Helped with payroll weekly.
• Updated accounts in our HR systems of new employees.
• Walked the production floor and made sure everyone was working safely efficiently and checking to
see if everyone had on their PPE.
• Sent out emails to branch supervisors, recapping the day, or if anything needed to be addressed.
• Made “night before calls” with employees who were starting their work assignment the next day and went
over company rules, policies, procedures, and expectations before they started a work assignment.
• "Made first day calls" to employees who started a work assignment and asked if they were comfortable with

When I was with Universal, I had a few different things I would do depending on where I was needed for the day.
Forklift Operation-
-Would unload trucks full of freight, my duties were to unload freight from the parked trailer and take each pallet to its proper door destination using an RF scanner and an itemized document, once taken to its proper door destination, I would then load it into that trailer and scan the freight/pallet into that door using the RF scanner.
Shipping and receiving-
-When needed I would be in charge of shipping and receiving trailers to and from the warehouse dock, using a yard management system and Global Freight Consolidation Strategy System to bring trailers in or out, after shipping out a trailer I would fill out the proper paper work and bring it to the office for finalization.
Yard Spotter/Yard Jockey-
-Maneuvered spotter trucks to hook up to trailers and move and park them in the dock or yard
-Would inspect trucks every day before we started to ensure they are safe and fueled up properly before
the beginning of the shift
-Averaged about 8 to 10 trailer moves per hour.
-Updated trailers in the system to their proper zones in the yard if needed
-Cleaned re-parked trailers in proper spots and zones if needed.
