Smart Attendance Tracking and Activity Recognition System(SATARS)

  • Presented a paper on SATARS in ICICCT 2024 held at JNU.
  • Our system involved various techniques using deep learning that accurately recognized the faces and activities of students.
  • The attendance system is divided into two components: one face recognition system and another activity tracking system
  • Identification of individual face is done by using insight-face and cosine similarity and there activities are identified with help of LSTM
  • The proposed (SATARS) system has been capable of recognizing faces with an accuracy of 94% and activities recognized in real-time for multiple students simultaneously
  • Skills attained: Python, tensorFlow, pytorch, InsightFace Deep face model, LSTM model, Yolo, Mathematical Algo such as cosine similarity

Travelling Website

  • The project focuses on showcasing an interactive travel website where people can register and book tickets. Using HTML, CSS, JS and PHP we were able to build a working website.
  • Customer can view and book different tours/packages present DB.
  • Data is then validated with various validation functions that run-in backend.
  • If all validations are successful, the customer's tickets are booked; otherwise, it displays the appropriate error.
  • Website also has an interactive cursor that engages the customers to spent more time.
  • Skills attained:HTML5, CSS3, PHP, SQL, Javascript, Appache.
