Responsibilities:
Oversee comprehensive financial, accounting, taxation, payroll, and export documentation functions with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial management for a Dairy Processing & Packaging unit with Ghee Plant operations. Key responsibilities include:
1. Financial Management & Reporting:
- Direct full-cycle accounting operations, including the preparation and finalization of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Develop and manage Management Information System (MIS) reports, enabling data-driven decision-making by senior management.
- Established and standardized accounting and taxation SOPs, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational consistency.
2. Taxation & Compliance:
- Manage GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C filings, and ensure timely submission of pre-GST tax returns (VAT, Service Tax, APMC).
- Oversee payroll processing and statutory contributions, including Provident Fund (PF), ESIC, and Professional Tax, ensuring accurate calculation and filing.
- Coordinate with tax consultants on assessments and handle tax notices, supporting audits from departments such as GST, VAT, and Income Tax.
3. Export Documentation & Certification Compliance:
- Administer end-to-end export documentation, from rate negotiations with Custom House Agents (CHA) to consignment delivery, ensuring compliance with FSSAI, AGMARK, and EIA certifications.
- Oversee the export licensing process, maintaining up-to-date certifications and coordinating renewals as per regulatory guidelines.
4. Team Leadership & Training:
- Lead and train a team of 8–10 employees in accounting standards and compliance, fostering an organized and collaborative working environment.
- Supervise the onboarding process, manage employee documentation, and ensure compliance with HR and statutory requirements.
5. Audit Coordination:
