• General Ledger Management: Having expertise in overseeing and managing the General Ledger function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.
• Financial Reporting, Analysis and Reconciliation :Ensure monthly accrual of Revenue as per contract with customers Proficient in financial reporting and analysis, with a track record of providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Liaising with cross functional teams & Stakeholders to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial on monthly basis. Reporting of collection to Management and monitoring of Trade receivables aging.
• Forecasting and Budgeting, Overlays working on quarterly and half yearly basis.
• Provide weekly insight to Senior Management of messaging about financial position and Sales team to take corrective action at right time if required.
• MIS reporting and analysis of revenue with previous month and Budget vs Actual analysis.
• Provide Pre-month end view (Flash report) on WD-10 to provide fair idea of expected P&L which would reflect on WD 2/ WD3 in order to avoid last minute surprises.
• Cost Analysis on WD-4, and circulate to the entire stakeholders to facilitate early view of P&L.
• Performing month close activities like recognizing internal revenue, cost allocation, deferred revenue recognition and cost accruals/deferrals for the month & EBIDTA Walk through for month.
• Reporting Month end Commentary (M-o-M and Y-o-Y) for P&L with detailed review of variance of Revenue, Cost and working capital as against the Budgets/Forecasts.
• Follow up and coordination with Sales team and Strategy team, Customers reconciliation on periodical basis, Analysis of new contracts with customers & Completion of external and internal audits

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Budget Data preparation - Assistance, discussion & follow-up with onshore\ stakeholder for preparation of budget & forecasts.
• Forecast preparation - Monthly Forecasting the number and take corrective action for the rest of the year based in input received from sales Team.
• Overlays Calculation.

Decision Support and Analysis:

• Performing deep dive analysis by ensuring no incorrect cost is charged and no revenue leakages.
• Proactively analyzing External cost (PO's), Internal Cost (Titan transfers) which would reflect into the ledgers and mitigate risk by taking necessary actions in advance.
• Helping Sales team by providing financial view before any bid for customer.
• Sales commission working on Quarterly for the sales people.
• Analysis of underlying business position into run rate business, new additions, non-renewals and one offs.

Fixed Asset Management Expertise

• Handling 5 regions in fixed asset management (including transition from Germany), encompassing the full asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposal, to ensure accurate accounting and compliance.
• Depreciation, Impairment Analysis, Cross-functional Collaboration for Internal Capitalization & Implemented cost control measures related to fixed assets, resulting in reduced expenses and optimized asset utilization.

Handling Revenue and GL closure of Pre-buy Hotels segment

• Ensure Month End GL Closure on Timely basis.
• Ensure correct revenue recognition and reporting the same to senior stakeholders.
• Report P&L numbers with explain Variances.
• Payment Gateway Reconciliations.
• Billing Reconciliation with Hoteliers.

Responsible for revenue accounting for Airtel Africa.

• Calculation and booking of revenue on basis of traffic reports provided by the revenue assurance team of Africa.
• To ensure that key reconciliations related to books closure and management reporting are within threshold limit. (Intelligent Network Recon)
• Analyzed revenue for Prepaid & Postpaid and provided variance reports.
• Reconciled critical liabilities associated with primary sales on a monthly basis.
• Analyzed revenue model for new product launches and discuss the same with Product team.
• Prepared Sales Vs Activation Report for SIM cards.
• Reported flash numbers after month-end.

Compiled and finalized audit reports and financial statements for various companies, including PSU (Chandigarh housing Board, Hindustan & machine tools and various other companies. Conducted audits for banks, including concurrent audit, revenue audit, IT audit, and stock audit. Assisted in tax audits.
