- Coordinate with Functional Area experts for conducting environmental baseline studies, including air, water, soil, biodiversity, and noise assessments.
- Worked closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., geologists, engineers, and operations) and external consultants to ensure thorough assessments and the timely acquisition of Environmental Clearance (EC), CRZ Clearance, and Forest Clearance (FC).
- Assessing how a site complies with Environmental regulations
- Facilitate public hearings, consultations, and meetings with stakeholders, addressing any concerns related to environmental impacts.
- Conducting Technical Audits and also listed as Team Member in Air Pollution & Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification Functional Areas by NABET(National Accreditation Board for Education and Training).
- Preparing and delivering presentations for Environmental Clearance (EC) to secure approval from MoEFCC, SEAC, and EAC Committees for various projects.
- Identify and assess environmental risks associated with mining activities and develop strategies to mitigate potential environmental hazards.
- Preparing Emergency Response Plans(ERP) & Risk Assesment & Hazard Identification Report(RH) for environmental incidents, including spillages, pollution, and natural disasters.
- Advocate for the adoption of sustainable mining practices, including Waste Management, resource conservation, and Rehabilitation of mined areas.
- Stay updated on environmental laws, policies, and best practices relevant to the mining industry and other Industries as well.
