FOOD RECOMMENDATION SYSTEM| MACHINE LEARNING PROJECT

• Developed a content-based recipe recommendation system that suggests recipes based on user-input nutritional values and ingredients.
• Applied TF-IDF vectorization to process ingredient text data and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) for similarity-based recommendations.
• Preprocessed and normalized nutritional features (calories, fat, carbohydrates, protein, etc.) using StandardScaler for improved model performance.
• Built a Flask-based web application with a responsive Bootstrap interface to accept user inputs and display top-5 personalized recipe recommendations with images.
• Gained hands-on experience in machine learning, data preprocessing, and full-stack integration.
