Summary
I'm a statistician with well versed in Python, R and SAS platforms. I love to draw insights from data and love to explain hidden factors in data. Through my 7 years of corporate experience, I have dealt with EDA and Statistical Modeling by applying various statistical and Data Mining Techniques. The process I follow is Understanding Business Domain, create hypothetical statements, Data pre-processing, Statistical Analysis, Feature Engineering, Feature Selection, Model Building, Model Evaluation, Model Selection, Model Deployment along with storytelling in Tableau/Power BI. I come from a varied business domain such as Life science, Healthcare, Retail, Banking and Finance and HR.
Major time goes on structuring the data as data is never clean, collation of data from various source and get into one umbrella, run univariate to understand the attribute say is there any missing values, are there any outliers, is it skewed, what is the distribution, etc. and then Bi variate for correlation. Every day is a learning.
I must upskill on Deep Learning and NLP as I’m matured enough in Machine Learning models. Thoughts of deep learning came when I had to analyze comments/feedback data. A very basic N-Grams and sentimental analysis was implemented. But not satisfied as it can be done a lot more.
