- From October 2001 to current I have:
- Performed Machine repair, i.e. saws, stretchers, draw benches.
- Overhead cranes, operation and repairs including cable inspections and replacement, changing of overhead crane wheels and overhead crane rail alignment.
- Inspection and repair of gantry and jib hoists and cables.
- Some Welding and fabrication.
- Currently responsible for maintaining and repairing of 14,000 Ton aluminum extrusion presses to include , main ram and lateral packing, the changing of ram tooling, and maintaining and repairs of accumulator systems for the extrusion presses.
- Trained to operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, JLG man lifts, scissor lifts and 15 Ton mobile crane.
- Prior to mechanical apprenticeship October 2001, I held the position of Hot metal inspector where cast aluminum logs were ultrasonically inspected for internal cracks and voids, traceability of cast aluminum logs.
- Held the position of metal caster.
- Extrusion press assistant and billet heater.
- Mill help which entailed work assignments of press help, saw help, overhead crane operation.
