  • From October 2001 to current I have:
  • Performed Machine repair, i.e. saws, stretchers, draw benches.
  • Overhead cranes, operation and repairs including cable inspections and replacement, changing of overhead crane wheels and overhead crane rail alignment.
  • Inspection and repair of gantry and jib hoists and cables.
  • Some Welding and fabrication.
  • Currently responsible for maintaining and repairing of 14,000 Ton aluminum extrusion presses to include , main ram and lateral packing, the changing of ram tooling, and maintaining and repairs of accumulator systems for the extrusion presses.
  • Trained to operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, JLG man lifts, scissor lifts and 15 Ton mobile crane.
  • Prior to mechanical apprenticeship October 2001, I held the position of Hot metal inspector where cast aluminum logs were ultrasonically inspected for internal cracks and voids, traceability of cast aluminum logs.
  • Held the position of metal caster.
  • Extrusion press assistant and billet heater.
  • Mill help which entailed work assignments of press help, saw help, overhead crane operation.
