As a child care director I have a strong understanding of early childhood education. I have high engagement and I work on a day to day basis with low income families. I work in child development, curriculum design as well as maintaining a good learning environment, I work with my team on a day to day basis with health and safety. I am also knowledgeable in the federal government food program. I work hand in hand with my team when it comes to staff development. I also manage and maintain a one million dollar budget for center operations, I ensure that the licensing and regulations are up to date at all times.

On a day to day basis, I ensured that the center was ran smoothly, I ensured I held the health and safety of the children. I oversaw all of the financial management as well as curriculum and learning. I was not only in charge of family and staff engagement, I also ensured a perfect learning environment.

In this position I oversaw youth age's 4-21 years of age. I oversaw the pre school program as well the after school program. I ensured tutoring and after school snacks and activities were provided. I oversaw the summer youth program with enriched and engaged programming as well as oversaw all of the field trips. With this program I planned and ensured health and safety for the food program. I also planned all of the menu's for the month as well as supervised the staff. Oversaw job preparation for the older youth for when they entered the work force. I ensured the youth knew how to interview properly for positions as well as resume building. I assisted with hosing, employment and transportation. I also planned events and trips for the adolescent.
