Registered Nurse

Reid Hospital
05.2022 - 11.2022

I worked as an RN for the Progressive Care unit of the hospital which focused on telemetry monitoring, stroke recovery, and post op cardiac cath patients mainly, but the unit also took over flow patients from med surge. Progressive care is the step down unit from ICU so patients would either get better and be discharged or if conditions worsened, would sometimes have to go back to ICU. These were patients that were not medically stable and had to be monitored closely. Many of these patients had to have multiple IV infusions or blood transfusions performed on the unit, post op monitoring, and wound care.
