Key Responsibilities:

• Key player in transition of accounting processes from South Africa to India.
• Collaborate closely with the Country Controller for South Africa, overseeing financial reporting, P&L analysis, and both pre and post-close financial reviews.
• Preparation of Consolidated financial statement in compliance with IFRS.
• Preparation of provisional tax computation for South Africa including P&L forecast.
• Managing detailed VAT reconciliations and return filing.
• Spearheaded the Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Developed cashflow forecasts and provide strategic insights to stakeholders for decision-making.
• Manage intercompany settlements and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Acted as a key point of contact for external auditors and regulatory bodies (KPMG, PWC, EY, SARS).
• Implemented Accenture's standard processes for newly acquired entities and integration.
• Represented Accenture South Africa in communications with the South African Revenue Authorities, successfully resolving multiple tax notices.
• Managing Cash flow forecast and Income Forecast for leadership reporting.
• Led a team of 20+ professionals, including supervisors, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Implemented process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
• Reviewing SOX Internal controls of various RTR processes.
• Setting up new processes depending upon regulatory changes for example VAT law change in South Africa, implementing new intercompany settlement process.
• Developed and implemented Excel-based automation tools to streamline various R2R financial processes.
• Deeply involved in Innovation and productivity initiatives consistently delivering significant value over the period
• Led end-to-end transition and stabilization of various roles across multiple functions & geographies within accelerated timelines
• Managing Technical Accounting questions & rendering advisory support to stakeholders from various geographies.

Local Process Tower Lead – Blackline Reconciliations & Intercompany Key Responsibilities:

• Review balance sheet reconciliatipons
• Designing global standard templates for balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Leading the global hyper-automation project for automating 7000+ balance sheet reconciliations on blackline across different workstreams.
• Trained and mentored team members on best practices for preparation and analytical reviews of reconciliations.
• Review of key intercompany metrics
• Hiring management – Managing recruitment process for team hiring the right talent.
