  • Working in Agile model as Product Owner for GMS Application.
  • Responsible for prioritizing items in Jira. Aligning with MLIT on Sprint Scope.
  • Responsible for overall delivery into production and need to ensure that maximum business value is delivered in a Sprint.

  • Working closely with execution teams to understand issues and take them up with MLIT.

  • Signing off the requirements in focal point after it has been discussed with MLIT and all the queries are resolved.

  • Working closely with UAT testing team during the UAT of any GMS release.
  • Providing a brief to UAT team on the new requirements which must be tested as a part of any release.
  • Providing the UAT team brief about all the defects which are being fixed in a release and what is expected from the team to test it.
  • Reviewing each test case created by UAT team in focal point, providing any additional scenarios from business side.
  • Signing off the UAT test cases.
  • Responsible for any defects raised by UAT team and for discussing them in HOAT calls during the testing.
  • During testing, responsible for providing my inputs on criticality of any defect and also approval in case if defect can be rejected from business side.
  • Responsible for providing a sign off from business side basis to the UAT test results.
  • Responsible for discussing and following up of any defects which are logged during the Hypercare period after every release.
  • Liaising with Country focal for any issues related to customs which impacts GMS and getting information from country focal and providing to MLIT/support teams accordingly.
  • Raising new requirements on the EDI side for Advance Manifest countries in GMS.
  • Co-ordinating with colleagues from various departments in case of any issues related to GMS production.
  • Ensure completion and migration of all customs process within planned timeline, ensure trainings across all 5 GSC’s, system and process troubleshooting. Ensure all processes are capable, standardized and cost efficient.
  • Prepare communications and make presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.
  • Maintain customer engagement. Engagement with all stakeholders in GSC’s including Europe country focal.
