CLS Confirmation

• Investigate all unmatched/ alleged trades on CLS. Liaising with counterparties, FO and MO to resolve the issues before settlement date.
• Taking the deal outside of CLS if not matched before CLS cut off. Ensuring CLS pay in and pay outs are performed accordingly with no errors.
• Keeping a track on CLS position of the bank for all CLS eligible currencies and informing hourly position to the group.
• Advising the traders on the long and short positions for currencies and getting it covered before 17 CET.

Swift Confirmation

• Proficient in TRAM, including Spot and future transactions, Non-deliverable forwards (NDF) and Options. Expertise in using vendor systems like GTSS, FXALL, and MISYS.
• Successfully established and managed standard settlement instructions for various FX deals, ensuring smooth and accurate transaction settlements. Served as a link between back-front-middle office, and sales teams to resolve trade inconsistencies efficiently.
• Coordinated with cash management and treasury departments on mismatched/unmatched agreements, adjusted funding amounts, and maintained constant communication with counterparties to ensure timely matching before the value date cutoff time.
• Experienced in understanding many payments messaging protocols, including MT202, MT103, MT210, and MT202+MT103.
• Reconcile incoming and outgoing confirmations (MT300 & MT600) for FX Spot, FX Forward, FX Swap, Money Market (MM), and Precious Metal transactions.
• Led TRAM training for new employees, providing key knowledge and skills for efficient trade risk and asset management.

Non- Swift Confirmation-

• Coordinated with counterparties to confirm non-swift trades via mail, FAX, paper, and phone before the currency cut-off time on the value date.
• Worked on drafting paper confirmation for unwind and novation deals as per requirement of the counterparty or trader. Prepared allege/ DK reports, monthly volume reports and daily MIS.

NDF/ Options and Exotic Confirmation

• Matching FX NDF (MT300), Exotic options(MT306), Options (MT305) trades on Swift. Served as a link between back-front-middle office, and sales teams to resolve trade inconsistencies efficiently.
• Excellent knowledge on Non- deliverable products, Options and Exotic products. Worked on static setup for newly on-boarded clients.
