  • Feasibility study and handover form AVP to execution. DFM was raised due to insufficient drawability of parts, wrinkles, splits, spring-back, blank size optimizations, etc.
  • Facilitated the supplier kickoff meeting, detailing the RFQ, press data, and CAD files. Shared material cards and simulation files from AVP during supplier onboarding.
  • Supplier, 3D process, simulation verification, and process optimization & validation.
  • Initiated die design activity after process finalization and simulations.
  • The design reviews with checklist follow-up with the supplier through meetings. Pattern and casting approval will be given after verification. Approval for 3D machining after having the official CAD release. Try out the follow-up to be taken. ECR implementation with a feasibility check. Shipment of TTO parts without quality targets. The next batch of parts, as per the project schedule, needs to be shipped to the plant location with quality targets after the quality team's approval. FMEA for tolerancing is carried out along with the supplier and quality team. All data required for checking fixtures is provided to the supplier, such as the tolerance file, etc. Conducting virtual buy-off activities and planning for die shipment.
  • Supporting the tryout activities at the supplier, as well as the home press line commissioning. In between troubleshooting and problem-solving, after involving different stakeholders if required.
