Fabrication and Characterization of Alumina-Carbon Fibe reinforced Magnesium hybrid composite

• Spearheaded the development of an advanced hybrid metal matrix composite (MMC) by integrating nanoscale alumina (Al₂O₃) particles and high-performance carbon fibers into a pure magnesium matrix.
• Optimized reinforcement weight/volume fractions through systematic parametric studies to enhance mechanical properties such as tensile strength, microhardness, and wear resistance.
• Employed state of the art fabrication techniques, including squeeze casting and powder metallurgy, to achieve a homogeneous dispersion of reinforcements.
