Involved in one complete cycle of Erection, commissioning and maintenance activities of 2X660MW boiler & Auxiliaries

Maintenance Role:

o Indianization of all boiler& auxiliary spares

o Maintenance of daily records and PM schedules

o Continuous review of repeated failures of Boiler & auxiliary equipment’s.

o Involved in Root Cause Analysis and implementation of outcomes and revision of all documents as per requirement and outcomes.

o Departments Budget forecasting for every year, review and monitoring on regular basis.

o Preparation of monthly consumption report related team and plotting & forecasting the requirement

o Boiler overhauling schedule and scope document preparation and technical evaluation of vendor.

o Preventive, breakdown &corrective maintenance of equipment’s related to boiler & auxiliaries

o Preventive maintenance Schedule preparation and continues follow up with contractor for adhering with the proposed schedule

o Monitoring performance of the equipment’s and initiating steps to make all the equipment’s 100% available.

o Regular maintenance and overhauling of mills, PA/FD/ID fans and all auxiliary equipment of boiler.

o Have been fully involved in boiler proper, HP LP valves, Fans, APH & Mill

overhauling and maintenance of safety valve

o Technical evaluation of documents in the process of procurement and AMC contractor finalization

o Maintenance of fuel oil system.

o Preparation of schematic maintenance procedure of all equipment’s .

o Preparation of maintenance checklists of all the equipment required for general maintenance activities

o Preparing and maintenance of all annual bills of AMC

IMS IMPLEMENTATION

o Implementation of IMS documentation and development of record for

meeting IMS audit requirement in Boiler department.

o Responsible for generation of new documents as per IMS 45001 for

all new activities and carrying internal audit of IMS.

o Implementation of 5S in department and documentation preparation in coordination with 5S external team.

Boiler & Auxiliaries, erection and commissioning activities:

PRESSURE PARTS:

o Planning the sequence of erection of pressure parts

o Coordinating for IBR Ground inspection of pressure parts.

o Erection and Alignment of water wall headers, economizer headers, super heater headers, re heater headers, platen super heater headers, sling tube headers, steam separator, panels, coils, tubes and piping

o Erection and alignment of pressure parts

ROTOR PARTS:

o Responsible for Air Pre heater tri sector type erection, commissioning & maintenance activities.

o Erection & maintenance of mills

o Erection, alignment and commissioning of Boiler circulation pump.

o Total boiler ducting inhouse boiler and upto chimney.

o Insulation and refractory of total boiler.

o Total High pressure piping, LP piping ,auxiliary piping erection and alignment of boiler and piping between boiler and TG

o Boiler Structural erection and alignment.

o Weld visual and quality inspections as per WPS ,Indian standards and ASME

o Successfully done light up, steam blowing& chemical cleaning of auxiliary boiler (50 t/h steam generation capacity).

o Erection of bunker and its structure.

PLANNING AND MONITORING:

o Preparing of progress reports

o Conducting meeting with the contractors for the progress of the work etc

o Coordinating with contractor in Preparation of L3 Schedules. Monitoring daily activities for achieving the targets

o Preparation of Monthly plans

o Constant follow up with contract for Plant and machinery mobilization as per contract.

• Prepared detailed plans, drawings and other documents for the manufacture and erection of steel members columns, beams, braces, trusses, stairs, handrails, joists, metal decking, Erection drawings, etc used in the construction of buildings, bridges, industrial plants, and non building structures. Also carried out work of checking and coordinating with the modler in designing the structure as per the plan given by the designer.
