  • Identified and resolved connecting rod failure issue by conducting root cause analysis, benchmarking, and CAE simulations, resulting in improved component life.
  • Reduced engine blow-by through revised end gap chamfer specifications based on benchmarking.
  • Engineered the design and development of fuel injection system components (housing fuel pump, clamp, pipes, hoses), as part of MCR supplier resourcing project. Finalized piston bowl and injection spray layout.
  • Innovated a unique oil gallery in the housing fuel pump to ensure effective lubrication of roller tappet and camshaft lobe, preventing premature component wear.
