Founded over 50 years ago, CICO Consulting Engineers is an Architectural Design, Structural Design, MEP

Design, Supervision and Project Management firm.

Following were roles and responsibilities as Team Leader-Architect:

∙ Conducted pre-concept design studies to fine-tune and sharpen the design brief for external consultants.

∙ Managing submissions for GSAS Credits.

∙ Setting up BIM environment for new proposals and projects.

∙ Trained design team for BIM.

Founded in 1997, AREP is an interdisciplinary architecture practice, a subsidiary of SNCF Gares & Connexons. AREP Ville SAS was the branch operating in QATAR for Doha Metro Green Line Underground.

Doha Facelift Project: Tender Phase

• Preparation of technical proposals for tender submittals.
• Preparation for visual and graphical information for submittals.
• Brainstorming sessions with senior designers.

Junior Station Design Manager – Construction Phase – Green Line Underground Metro:

• ∙ Referee for design issues in Al Shaqab and Qatar National Library underground stations.
• ∙ Site visits, spot checks and monthly reports on site.
• ∙ Construction issues and inconsistencies with design.
• ∙ Shop drawings and As-Built drawing reviews and approvals.
• ∙ Meetings with client to resolve, justify and make claims approved.

Architect – Detailed Design Phase – Green Line Underground Metro:

• ∙ Proposals of detailed guidelines for architectural design under supervision of Senior Design Managers.
• ∙ Handling with REVIT 2D models, submittal drawings, model preparation and extraction.
• ∙ Implementation of design and 3D modeling in Revit (LOD 300) of 6 underground stations.
• ∙ Model check-up for design issues or clash-detection using Navisworks.

Design Coordinator – Green Line Extension Underground Project:

• Proposal of preliminary design guidelines and elaboration of 2D and 3D models.
• Animating and organizing coordination workshops with structural and MEP designers.
• Requirement contract, Branding manual and site constraints.
• Coordinating with in house team to fit requirements and tight time schedule.

Red Line Elevated and At-Grade Project (Doha Metro) :

• Verified construction documentation to meet client requirements and vision.
• Attended team meetings to resolve technical and project issues and review project schedules.
• Reviewed technical drawings developed by CAD technicians and drafters.
• Production of shop drawings from 3D models.
• Animating and organizing coordination workshops with structural and MEP designers.
• As-built modelling for the whole track and stations.
• Coordinating with in house team of designers to fit the requirements and tight time schedule.

Trained and started career as an Architect with leading Design Firm based in New Delhi (India)- ARCOP Associates, with multi-disciplinary team of Architects, visualization artists, and worked on luxury villas, high end dwellings (high-rise), Townships, Educational Institutions and Museum.
