Work History
EBoP Engineer- Wind O&M
ReNew
8 2022 - Current
Carried out and contributed to the RFC of 400kV Double circuit line with Quad ACSR/Moose conductor (138km) & 400kV Double circuit line with ACSS/HTLS conductor (93km), which carry the capacity for evacuation of more than 5 GW of renewable power in Karnataka to central grid.
Handled a team size of about 15 members for effective and safe conduct of HOTO inspections, shutdown rectification and maintenance of these two 400kV lines.
Executed the pre-charging inspections and punch point closure follow-ups of 400/220kV ISTS substation.
Performed the RFC of 220kV lines evacuating power from 300MW Peak Power project (23km) and 300MW RTC project( 35km).
Contributed to the pre-charging inspections and rectification of 220/33kV Peak Power PSS which combines Wind, Solar & BESS sources. Involved in activities in respective 33kV lines as well containing 11 feeders with a total line length of about 158km.
Equipment testing like stability, tan-delta, IR test, Breaker opening and closing measurement etc. and signature test of 400/220kV lines.
Worked as Wind O&M engineer at a 90MW SGRE-114 model WTG site as team support member and was involved in various central projects analyzing SGRE fleet across India.
Performed Repetitive errors tracking of SGRE-114 & SGRE-97 Model WTGs from all self O&M sites across India which helped identify the turbines having critical issues & downtime & requiring attention. Also, coordinated with all site incharges for rectification of errors, material/spare availability.
Analyzed the performance of wind sites through KPI tracking in which safety scores, RA, LPF, response time, order closure, inventory/spare consumption, audit compliance, PM status, tools calibration, tripping count, line loss, GA and other parameters were compared. Ranked the sites based on scores which helped promote a culture of competition.
Follow-ups and preparation of closure reports of AHA Audits for SGRE fleet. Ensuring the AHA scores meet the target. Identified the potential material/spare requirement & support required centrally by the sites.
Involvement in PM activities like generator alignment, component inspections etc. Part of breakdown maintenace and witnessed large correctives like main bearing replacement, blade replacement.
