Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitoring, supervision of fabrication, and installation of structural piping, as well as construction activities, are conducted according to the latest revision drawings and the client’s specifications. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly construction reports. Coordinate with other disciplines or departments to resolve interface issues. Attend the meeting with the subcontractor/client regarding the work schedule and progress.
• Experience and knowledge in Piping Construction as per ASME B31.3, having good experience in handling piping fabrication, welding, and erection of various piping materials, internal and external coating systems, insulation, hot tapping, tie-in, shutdown in piping, exposure to various welding processes, and PWHT and NDT, pipe support modification.
• Coordination with PMT and the project client regarding critical issues at the work site. Join the mechanical and construction completion walk-through with the client and punch closing. Ensure that the project permit system is followed completely, and all safety requirements are complied with at the work site.
• Ensure work is carried out with the witness, inspection, and surveillance checks in accordance with the quality plan and the requirements of the quality control manager. Supervise special item installation: locking device, fire extinguisher, sampling system.
• Monitoring of fabrication sequencing, as per codes and standards during fabrication work, is performed in accordance with the approved construction procedure, latest IFC drawings, and specifications. Performing the job according to fabrication drawings and project client specifications, and after the completion of fit-up, arranging for QC inspectors and a third-party inspector according to the approved ITP.
• Monitoring with the subcontractor superintendent and supervisor, daily production fit-up, welding, and spool erection report the status performed and any site issues to the Field Engineer and Piping Manager. All prefabrication, erection, and installation of piping and pipeline must confirm that it has been performed according to code and client requirements, as per the latest revision of drawings and specifications.
• Check and ensure that the construction specification has been developed and followed by construction subcontractors, and follow up on HSE-related matters within the piping engineering group. Experience in the execution of a punch list, hydro test, pneumatic test, and reinstatement. Performs inspection of all piping work in progress on a continuing basis. Check and develop piping and equipment layout, and ensure the proper interface between piping and equipment drawings on-site, including piping audits.
• Clearing the punch list items, test packages, construction activities, and site modifications, along with advice from the client and Quality Control department, as well. Performing hydro testing and pneumatic testing for process and utility piping. Ensure that the contractor does not compromise on safety, and, at a minimum, comply with the site HSE plan.
• Reading ISO drawings and helping the supervisors with their line of work. Worked with materials such as CS, SS, LTCS, and NACE. Conducting toolbox meetings and looking after safety all the time. Ensure that the safety management programs on department safety objectives are strictly followed, and action is taken against defaulters to stop and prevent occurrences.
• Conduct frequent audits and document the outcomes to verify that enough effort has been put into the areas of productivity, safety, and quality.
• Take ownership of the success or failure of the individual projects, and resort to corrective measures to avoid recurrence in the future. Exposure to the Permit of Work system, the safety inspection, and the implementation of safety plans procedures of the organization.
• Familiar with international standards and codes (ASME B31.3 and API). Follow the procedure for fabrication, erection, welding, and hydro testing.
• To maintain records, document, and work status of relevant activities as per ISO. Follow the piping supports standard and support sketch. Preparation of the cutting plan, marking, fit-up, and inspection of weld visuals with general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, and marking drawings.
• Coordination with the client, subcontractor, and engineering department regarding technical problems. Familiar with GAD, ISO, and basic knowledge of P&ID. Coordination with QA/QC for NDT and punch point.
• Inspection of tool tackles and materials to avoid delays in fabrication and erection; exposure to the permit-to-work system and safety inspection; and implementation of safety plans.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor various construction activities related to above-ground piping.
• Support subcontractors for the erection of above-ground piping spools and coordination with drawings and materials availability.
• Coordinates with engineering and other departments with regard to site modifications and technical queries.
• Ensure safe and effective piping construction activities with respect to the quality and schedule.
• Follow up and push the subcontractor for better progress in day-to-day activities, including keeping records, paperwork, and filing.
• Prepare site instruction, and review sub-contractors’ construction technical queries (CTQs) before forwarding to engineering.
• Review and sign the RFI (Request for Inspection) from the subcontractor for equipment.
• Make sure the company policies and rules are followed during the client inspection.
• Prepare the daily production report, and attend weekly meetings with the project manager.
• Familiar with codes: ASME, ASTM, ANSI, AWS, IBR, and NON-IBR.
• Ensuring the construction work is carried out to the required project specification, drawing, and compliance with the specific ITP/MS/QC procedure.
• Coordinate between fabrication QA/QC and planning.
