Core responsibilities :

• Assisting in carrying out audit and other assurance services to clients as part of offshore team across various industry types i.e Retail, manufacturing, service & legal, healthcare, travel, medical, commercial real estate industries etc in the UK
• Project management: managed multiple engagements as an Audit 'in-charge' by defining audit strategy in consultation with partners/managers and leading audit teams (often up to 3-8 staff) through planning, execution and completion stages
• Formulating audit methodologies with managers during planning and risk assessment stage to identify risks and responses across various areas of financial statements (revenue, expenses, payroll, PPE, leases, inventory etc)
• Trained and mentored junior team members in audit techniques, procedures with insight into quality aspects of audit matters with primary focus on quality of work papers.

Other responsibilities :

• People management: conducted performance evaluations for junior team members sharing constructive feedback and guidance for their professional development.
• Picking quality reviews across teams, L&D delegate ensuring all mandatory trainings are completed by staff, facilitate in classroom based training programs for junior staff & received ‘Interviewer accreditation' at KPMG.
• Reporting and presenting to on-shore UK Directors and people champions by analyzing utilization & availability of resources of the off-shore team.
• Participation in extra-curricular activities like departmental ‘Townhall' presentations, member of social-committee, CSR programs, team-building activities etc.

• Responsible for collection activities of an US based client in hospital industry by reviewing customer's portfolio via aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and initiate appropriate collection/resolution activity (for instance write offs and credit holds).
