Hope Valley Resignalling and Recontrol project:

1. Production of Hazard log compliant to CSM-RA.

2. Carrying out Safety Analysis / Hazard Analysis.

Infinity Workstation Project ( Product Development)

1. Production of Hazard log and relevant documents for getting trial certificate of Infinity Workstation in UK Railways.

2. Drafted the GASC for initial review.

3. Consolidate the HAZID reports and produce Hazard record.

4. Review Previous Product Hazard log and extract the relevant requirements for the new product.

5. Support Product team for Safety Review and Gate review.

6. Supported the Hazard review Panel.

7. Co-ordinate for ISA audit.

SmartGW ( Product Development

1. Production of Hazard log for SmartGW product.

Joined Siemens as Specialist - RAMS( Signalling)

Business Title: Senior RAMS Engineer

Project: PML3 Metro Project

• Responsibilities: Safety Manager for ( SIG and SMS)
• Prepared and maintained Hazard Analysis ( in DOORS).
• Support Turn-key on System level for Hazard log.
• Conduct Interface Workshop with all stakeholders internal and external.
• Perform Risk assessment.
• Discuss on Risk control measures and get acceptance from relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare Safety Case.

Project: RTS Link Project

Responsibilities includes

• Deliver Safety Case.
• Deliver Safety Analysis report ( SCIL and SIL Demonstration).

EDFC ( Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor) (Indian Mainline Project)

Job Role:

• Perform Safety Analysis on the mainline project , Safety Analysis includes but not limited to:

i. PHA- Preliminary Hazard Analysis.

ii. SHA- System Hazard Analysis.

iii. IHA- Interface Hazard Analysis.

iv. O&SHA- Operating and Support Hazard Analysis.

• Manage Hazard Log for the project.
• Manage the SRAC- Safety Related Application Conditions.
• Perform Safety Demonstration by production of Safety case.
• Be a part of Safety Reviews conducted by Quality before each gate reviews to demonstrate that the project is matured to go to the next level.
• Be part of CCB team and evaluate Safety Critical CRs( Change request).
• Interface with External ISA.
• Interface with other disciplines for Safety demonstration.
• Discuss Exported Safety Requirement List with Customer for their acceptance.
• Analyses any failure when the system is in revenue and investigate cause of failure, raise 8-D and associate Risk ranking and present to management.
• Be a part of team to analyses Root Cause analysis of the failure and find out the mitigation.

SMCSW- Sydney Metro City and South West ( International Project- Based on CBTC Signalling U400)

I Started this project as Safety Assurance Engineer and later promoted to Deputy Safety Assurance Manager for the same project

• Perform Safety Analysis (PHA,SHA,IHA,OSHA).
• Assist in preparing Safety Case and Safety reports.
• Interface with Internal ISA, Other departments.
• Conduct Workshop with Customer and other Interface parties for discussing Safety Requirement.
• Act as a point of contact with relevant contractors on management of system safety issues.
• Responsible to provide system safety assurance in accordance with the requirements of the project.
• Support periodic Safety Reviews managed by Quality., Co-ordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the Project.
• Build Safety Reports and Safety Case under guidance of PSAM.
• Acts as the primary single point of contact with the Independent Safety Assessor.
• Prepare RVT and GSN.

I was working towards Principle Designer license

• Production of Scheme Plan , for EW Rail Phase 2 under mentorship.

I was seconded to Atkins Croydon to support the Design office, some of the key projects involved are:
Feltham Resignalling Project:

• Involved in GRIP3 Works.
• Involved in Signal Sighting.

Victoria II Resignalling Project:

• Provided Design Support during Commissioning.

SIN119 Project: As a Designer I was involved in Desktop Surveys of Tranche 1,2 3 of SIN119 Locations.

Was promoted to Signalling Designer III after i obtained IRSE Design License 1.1.510v1
ProjectsCASR- Cardiff Area Signalling Renewals

• Phase 5: As a Designer done Production of Level Crossing REB involving Manually Controlled Barrier with CCTV Crossing (MCB CCTV) involving Network Rail Standards and Practices.
• Phase 5: Completed Detailed Design of Complex Equipment Room which controlled Signals, Points, AWS, TPWS, FAdC equipment’s, and associated wiring of all this equipment following Network Rail Typical circuits.
• Involved in production of New Location Designs for CASR Phase 3 and 4
• Involved in Production of Frausher Axle counter Material List,Schematics.
• Involved in Production of Ellipse Data for Phase 2 and 3.

East Sussex Renewal :Carried out Production & Production Checking of Source record update and prepared the Commissioning records for East Sussex Renewal Project after successful Commissioning of the Project.

I Joined WS Atkins as a Graduate Engineer, Trained to work in UK Signalling Field, was working towrds IRSE Signalling Designer License i.e. 1.1.510v1.
