Description:

1. This ERP project is focused on the manufacturing industry. The requirements encompass various departments, including production, human resources, quality, delivery, sales, and payroll. Each department's modules will undergo functional testing utilizing automation tools.

Roles and responsibility:

• A business requirement was examined  and an understanding of the test plan was utilized to create a test case document.

• This project employs the Test NG framework to conduct various types of functional testing, including smoke, sanity, regression, system, retest.

• To conduct the test case, utilize an automation tool to evaluate the execution results, noting the number of passed and failed test cases. Subsequently, prepare a bug report for the development team.

• The retest will be conducted to verify whether the previously identified bug has been resolved in the current build.

• The regression test ensures that any new changes or features added to the existing build are validated for functionality without introducing any bugs, while also verifying whether previous bug fixes remain effective.

• The defect will subsequently be monitored and recorded utilizing the JIRA tool.

The purpose of this project is to develop a comprehensive testing strategy for an e-commerce website, ensuring a seamless user experience, efficient transaction processing, and robust security measures. The website will be an online marketplace, allowing customers to browse and purchase products from various categories, including electronics, fashion, and home goods.

Roles and responsibility:

• The business requirements were examined leading to the development of a test plan document and the creation of a test case document.

• The functional test must be validated according to requirements, including smoke testing, sanity testing, regression testing, integrated testing, system testing.

• The e-commerce platform was automated utilizing the TestNG framework and the Page Object Model (POM).

• The retest was performed to verify whether the previous bug fix was successful.

• The regression test was performed to ensure that any new changes or features added to the build were validated without any bugs.

• The defect will subsequently be monitored and recorded utilizing the JIRA tool.
