Roles/Responsibilities
Lead Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering / Quality Control / Supplier Quality.
Review of Contracts & Identifying Customer requirements, Preparing of Quality Assurance Plan, Conducting Gap Analysis of Organizational Standard Operating Procedures & Customer requirements & Preparing Project specific work instructions.
Reviewing of Technical Specifications & Identifying Technical Qualification requirements & Leading the Plant Technical Qualification assessments.
Coordinating with Customers to get required accesses & ensuring the closure of pre industrialization activities.
Conducting review meetings on PFDs, PFMEAs, Control plans, MSA, SPC and other elements of APQP and ensuring the Customer requirements compliance.
Ensuring the timely closure of Supplier source inspection, Receiving Inspection, In process Inspection to avoid Production stoppage due to Inspection delays.
Reviewing FAI documentations, Accepting / Rejecting based on the Inspection results.
Independent acceptance authority for products and services and ensuring contractual, Customer and regulatory requirements are satisfied.
Perform Surveillance audits at supplier facilities based on risk and previous experience of the material and supply chain performance and Notify Supplier Defects, ensure necessary corrective and preventive actions are taken by suppliers and ensure compliance to QMS, Customer requirements at supplier’s places.
Identify and escalate suppliers who do not meet quality expectations by generating and monitoring supplier ‘right first time’ data also reviewing the Short term & Long term actions and recovery plans for Quality Improvements.
Assessing & Qualifying the Suppliers identified by the SCM team & ensuring the customer requirements are flown down to the Qualified Suppliers. Ensure that purchase order requirements are fully understood by all the suppliers.
Assess the Supplier capacity, capability & performance and contribute to the Supplier development
Reviewing of Inspection reports submitted by Inspectors, Accepting the Assembly structure/Detail Parts based on the inspection results & Initiating NCRs in case of any deviation found.
Internal MRB for Disposition of Non-Conformances and Planning the rework sequences.
Review of Rework operation sheets before releasing to shop floor.
Leading the RCCA Team and Conducts Root Cause Analysis for Non-Conformances, implements the corrective actions.
Coordinating with Customer for External dispositions & ensuring timely Corrective action submission & FPY of Corrective action submissions
Leading & monitoring APQP implementation.
Preparation of Internal Product & process Audit Plan & ensuring Audit compliance.
Facing Customer/ Third party & Certification agency audits.
Single point of contact for Customer on Quality related issues and Non conformances management/Customer complaints.
Member of Cross functional team for writing Procedures and processes (SOP), Project specific work instructions & Change Implementation Board.
Reviewing the Standard Operating Procedures as per the frequency scheduled & identifying the gaps and initiating the request for updating the procedures.
Leading for the Management review meetings on review of Quality Health of organization
Single point of contact for SAP HANA QM implementation. Preparing / reviewing the Business Requirement Documents (BRD’s) for SAP HANA development / improvements. Coordinating with the Developer & ensuring the SAP developments as per the Organizational Standard operating Procedures. Addressing the day to day SAP issues raised in the Shop floor.
SPOC for customer in nonconformance management, Customer complaints & Notification of escapements.
Daily interactions with customers and weekly interactions with sites on Quality and NCR related issues.
Weekly, Monthly & Quarterly meetings with Both Internal and External customers on project management.
To plan, organize, direct & Control with evaluation of project activities.
Coordinated the schedule of major work activities to ensure timely completion and to meet inter-department and customer commitments.
Conforming the Work as per Standard operating procedures and meets Blueprint requirements.
Initiates and follows up on drawing changes with Engineering to alleviate problems in Aircraft Manufacturing and to bring down the Production time.
Inspecting validity of tools, fixtures & jigs & cuttings tools & Hand tools.
Conducting Part fit checks for Jigs & Tools & approving the Tools for Line production.
Responsible for quality planning activities and scheduling of the Deliveries.
Responsible for training of Associates for all the new Process and new revisions in Drawings.
