After completing my undergraduate studies, I embarked on the ambitious journey of preparing for the Indian Administrative Services (IAS), choosing anthropology as my optional subject. Confident in my ability to succeed within two years, I soon realized the challenge of balancing the vast syllabus, current affairs, and static content, which required a three-year commitment. Financial constraints forced me to take odd jobs to fund my preparation, as I couldn’t rely on my family. In 2019, my father, already battling chronic health issues, became one of the first in our town to contract COVID-19, leading to three years of recurring hospitalizations. Balancing caregiving, financial pressures, and my IAS preparation became overwhelming, especially as an introvert with limited external engagement.

To refocus, I joined the BSc Psychology program at the University of Basel, aligning this with my IAS aspirations. However, my plans were disrupted again by my brother’s severe aplastic anemia and the need to clear MBA backlogs in India. Despite these setbacks, I completed my MBA in HR in 2024 with a CGPA of 68.3. Financial pressures and the need for stability led me to pivot toward a career in finance and administration, pursuing an MSc in Finance and Money to build a sustainable future while utilizing my academic and professional foundation.

I collaborated with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues, ensuring seamless operations under time-critical constraints. This role honed my analytical and problem-solving skills.

• As a Supervisor and Biometric Manager at TCS iON Digital Zone, my responsibilities involved overseeing daily examination processes, ensuring smooth operations, and managing biometric attendance systems. I coordinated with teams to maintain a secure and efficient environment, resolved technical and operational issues promptly, and ensured compliance with examination protocols. Working on a daily wage basis for my daily needs, this role allowed me to develop skills in supervision, time management, and problem-solving while contributing to the successful execution of examination procedures.
