Project Overview

CRD is a middle office trading platform for diverse asset classes taking inputs of Sec Ref data and Product ref data from different systems and running pre-compliance and pushing trades for the organization.

EDM is a security ref data and price ref data system connected to bloomberg and other sec ref data vendors.

Responsibilities

·Defining Event-Driven messaging contracts and convention for communication between different applications.

· Working at central Architects team to lay out architecture for LUSID data distribution platform.

· Lead/Assist delivery teams/tech leads in technical design reviews and solving complex problems.

· Define/Enable different distribution mechanisms like REST, message driven and batch driven execution with consumer applications.

· Directed and established objectives for POCs, leading to the selection of optimal tech stacks for projects; achieved a 20% reduction in development time and a 15% increase in project success rates.

· Setting up scalable and resilient frameworks based on effective data consumption pattern when there are 100s of consumers.

· Decide for cross cutting concerns and re-usable components within core-technical framework's team for different projects.

• Working in Central Architects team supporting 5 agile teams which use to execute the proposed design and architecture
• Understanding business use-cases/requirements and problem statements to map/align the proposed design/architecture with future road maps

• Setting up scalable and resilient frameworks based on micro-services for cross cutting concerns and re-usable components within core-technical team for different projects

Responsibilities

• Understanding business use-cases/requirements and problem statements to map/align the proposed design/architecture with future road maps
• Creating designs for HLD, LLD and tech stack with peer architects, tech leads on team

• CSP (Common Securitization Platform) has multiple modules
• DSDM is a Middle Office event driven, data extraction/transformation and disclosure reporting application to report Mortgage backed Securities data to Investors
• FHFA (Federal Housing Finance Agency) in US has two major Issuers/ Guarantor for issuance of New Mortgage Securities through CSP platform
• DSDM module had the responsibility to transform this raw business data of 30 M (million) loans packaged under 1.3 M (million) Securities after extracting it from IDS (Integrated Data Store in CSP Platform) and running complex transformation rules and notifying the UI module to report this data

Responsibilities

• Design/Architect new framework for DSDM from scratch using AWS EC2, RDS, Spring Core, Spring JDBC, JMS, JAXB, and Spring Transaction Management
• Design of business framework capable of setting up/configuring new generic Transformers/Extractors/Data Mappers for Complex transformations
• Actively involved in Performance tuning recommendations, re-factoring of existing modules to gain performance and new design proposals which are highly scalable, available and resilient systems
• Involved in architecture level discussions/decisions at CSP platform level for all modules (with client teams)
• Writing SQL Queries for Complex Data loads and transformations.

• It is a cross asset trade capturing tool providing security and allocation processing and trade capturing for Derivatives
• It is a middle-office system which absorbs and sends feeds to various internal/external systems through different communication protocols like REST, Webservices, event messaging etc

Responsibilities

• Design/Architect framework layer for different external communications with different protocols using REST, Webservices, event- messaging etc
• Defining new securitization workflow models and customizing them in CPSS tool according to Industry standards
• Doing code/design reviews for peers and other team members
• Code refactoring, re-engineering legacy modules to work on event driven and REST based architecture.

Responsibilities

• Programmed the main Invoicing screen of ERP to add more features and functionality during creation and editing of a Retail/ Whole–Sale Invoice
• Implemented auto-complete suggestion box by using AJAX and JavaScript
• Was handling client interaction and production issues reported by Client for up and running Version1
• Involved in Modification to current Database designs for new process addition in system
• On-site Lead, handling the production implementation for the major Version2 release.
