Responsibilities include:
1. Product and Data manager for Rail reference data (RFD) in Amadeus
- Understand RFD product vision and market it across divisions in Amadeus so as to integrate it with other Amadeus in-house products as necessary.
- Identify opportunities to improve RFD as a product, come up with roadmap and features for the release.
- Analyze, fix production and test issues to unblock customers with a quick turn around time.
- Collaborate with QA team to come up with test strategy for fixes as well as new data acquisitions.
- Requirement gathering, analysis and implementation of new requirements from clients in EU using multi carrier platforms for Rail.
- Mentor and lead two developers functionally during internship and provide smooth knowledge transition for their joining to scrum teams eventually.
- Liase with customers to align with new requirements and understand issues faced in real time to come up with impactful solutions and issue resolution.
- Work closely with dev team and dev manager in order to identify opportunities for enhancing the product and create tech debt/product backlog for RFD.
2. Product Definition analyst for ticketing and aftersale flows of a Rail PNR
- Comfortable with ticketing, refund and exchange flows of a Rail journey booked using Amadeus distribution platform.
- Extend support to scrum team in terms of functional analysis, specifications documentation, requirement gathering and solution design.
- Consistent touch base with product team in order to understand business perspective and the scope for features/epics planned for upcoming sprints/releases and work together to refine artifacts necessary for team to pickup for implementation.
Worked on a digital transformation and platform simplification project involving Salesforce, to help the clients (Insurer in the USA with its subsidiary MLM agency) in integrating strategy, process, technology, and information towards increasing effectiveness, reducing costs, and improving profitability.
Responsibilities were to:
- Facilitate workshops to gather requirements from the business.
- Document requirements through artifacts such as BRDs, features, and user stories (Gherkin format).
