Roles and Responsibilities:

• Research and identify the new and existing fabric suppliers.

• Analyze current fabric trends, innovations, and market conditions.

• Streamlined procurement processes for increased efficiency and reduced lead times.

• Discuss and Co-Ordinate with PPC team to meet the requirements of Merchandising and Marketing team.

• Implementation of Strategic Souring for cost savings and consistency to fabric flow.

• Optimizing order quantities and monitor fabric inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability.

• SAP process flow from PO generation to Stock utilization.

• Co-Ordinate with Quality team and ensure the fabric quality is as per customer's standard.

• Strategic coordination of inter- and intra-state logistics can optimize transport cost.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Coordinating with Marketing,Product Development Team for new developments & seasonal requirements.

• Analyzing and Offering same and similar quality collections, yardages to fulfill the buyer requirement according to the fashion trend & Season.

• Counter sourcing running qualities & new qualities with various supplier for best price.

• Confirming yardages and bulk to the respective mills by analyzing their Specialties & Capabilities.

• Negotiating with various mill and suppliers for the best fabric price, lead-time of bulk, sampling.

• Confirming of fabric Delivery schedule to Marketing, Production Planning & Respective Factories.

• Continue Follow-up and visiting mills to ensure the timeliness of the delivery schedule and quality.

• Coordinating with marketing team and customer for approval closures.

• Preparing FDS & confirming callouts for critical parameters.

• Analyzing the fabric Test Reports for GSM, Shrinkage/Tear Strength/Tensile Strength/Color fastness/Flammability & Eco friendly parameters.

• Creating Awareness about the Fabric Testing requirements to the fabric Suppliers, alerting them to take precautionary measures to meet customer testing requirements.

• Checking the bulk fabric in the initial stage to ensure the initial bulk meet the orders specifications, if any issue highlighting the mill for the route, cause and corrective actions to ensure the smooth out flow of bulk fabric delivery.

• 100% Cotton – Solid and Printed : In Voiles, Cambrics, Poplins, Satin, Canvas, Oxford, Sheetings, Twills, Dobbies, Leno-Dobbies, Cavalry Twill, Double Cloth.

• 100% Linen & Its Blends with Cotton, Rayon : Yarn Dyed Checks, Stripes, Prints, Solids.

• Viscose, Modal, Tencel – Dyed and Prints : Plain, Twill, Cavalry Twill, Crepe, Georgette, Dobby, Leno Dobby.
