Job Responsibilities :-

• Manage and lead a team of 7 in handling all aspects of the merchandising process, including product development, production planning, quality control, and shipment coordination.
• Collaborate with buyers as per their requirements and market trends to make informed decisions regarding product development and pricing strategies.
• Coordinate with suppliers to develop new style range as per buyer's specifications.
• Evaluate costings, production timelines with suppliers to optimize cost-effectiveness and timely delivery of good quality products.
• Follow up with forwarders for shipment consolidations and vessel planning.
• Constant coordination with client’s logistics and finance teams.

• Account handled :- Sonae Inc.(Portuguese), Groupo Zannier-IKKS,Kenzo, Coldwater Creek (US), Roots Babies (Canada), Tristan N America (Canada).
• Managed the merchandising process from product development till production and shipment
• Product development - Sourcing fabrics, trims and garments in different designs / styles / techniques / yarn blends
• Sourcing samples for buyers in accordance with their product-range; working on specific product enquiries from buyers; preparing presentations for the design meetings
• Keeping the clients and vendors constantly updated to ensure timely execution on an order.
• Accomplishments and Volume of business: started new departments and made $2.5 million.

• Exclusively handled gap account (gap Men’s, Old Navy: Men’s, women’s, babies and kids)
• Handling an entire order from order confirmation till shipment
• Confirming trim recap from buyer, ordering trims and following up with GAP nominated suppliers
• Sending production samples to buyer and following up for approvals
• Sending daily production report to GIS India
• Season wise sampling and various developments as per buyer’s requests.

• Visual examination of inputs such as fabric, accessories, trims, partially finished garments to completely finished garments in relation to standards
• Applying online process quality control measures during the manufacturing process on floor
• Giving final approvals in regards to overall presentations, trims, colors and style, finishing, measurements, packing, accessories for all production samples before sending to buyer
• Accomplishments: Successfully completed a 6 months project in Tirupur along with Mr. Mathias Schmidt, Quality Director from German buyer Perlie: to control the quality of garments during production, giving training to workers to enhance their efficiency and productivity.
