Description: The project enables electronic trading of fixed-income securities for rates and credit desks using ION MarketView. It provides seamless connectivity between internal systems and external trading venues, streamlining trade execution, and improving operational efficiency.

Contribution:

• Managed end-to-end software build and release processes across development, QA, and production environments, ensuring alignment with change and release governance.
• Diagnosed and resolved complex deployment and environment issues, ensuring stable and reliable software delivery pipelines.

Project : Rates and Credit ION e-Trading/Fixed Income Trading

Description: Fixed income trading is the process of trading fixed income securities. ION Market view is an electronic trading solution which provides end to end connectivity between external trading venues and Rates and Credit Traders.

Contribution:

• Hands-on configuration, integration and testing of ION eTrading components
• Platform re-engineering to provide a stable and maintainable platform for the business
• Experience working on Bloomberg, Tradeweb and Market axess gateways.
• End-to-end trade flow, testing and troubleshooting on Tradeweb IRS and EM flow.
• Experience working with List trading on BBG and Tradeweb
• VCON, Sales to Trader flow.
• Working experience on Market wire
• Direct engagement with business stakeholders in Trading, Sales and COO teams.
• Implement changes, upgrades and testing ION MarketView Rates and Credit eTrading platform.

Project : ION e-Trading/Fixed Income Trading

Description: Fixed income trading is the process of trading fixed income securities. The fixed income market has a large, diverse collection of market participants as it consists of low transaction costs, a competitive market structure. Institutional investors dominate the fixed income securities market.

Contribution:

• Provide second level technical and functional support for ION Fixed Income infrastructure products(Daemon, Router_M, Bridge), Fixed Income application like ION Market View(MMI), SYS Admin, Pricing Products (RefData, PXE, ADS) and TPRM products(Trade server, Position, Risk, STP)
• Liaise with Desk Traders (IG: Investment Grade, EM: Emerging Markets, HY: High Yield, CDX and ETF Desk) to resolve queries related to fixed income products like Bonds.
• Work on mini/major projects on testing, deploying new ion services as per business needs.
• Monitor production environment on regular basis, provide L1/L2 Support to resolve minor to major incidents.
• Providing production/application support for real-time trading environment.
• Liaise with Other IT Team for downstream and upstream application for required support, testing for issues dependent on them.
• Investigate and resolve production issues including feed/connectivity issues.
• Maintain timely communication with up and downstream support teams and with Jefferies application managers.
• Ensure shift handover from one shift to subsequent shift happens with right inputs.
• Maintain and support environment for different databases and applications in scope.
• Receive handover from business at close of Trading day for overnight batch run and support.

Description: Derivatives are essentially contracts that derive their value from an underlying asset. Derivative contracts are short-term financial instruments that come with a fixed expiry date. The underlying asset can be stocks, commodities, currencies, indices, exchange rates, or even interest rates.

• Agency trade and processing MIFID 2 Migration- I managed deployment of ION’s software into trading environments we have (FFastfill) across EU exchange suite. Created new UAT system and deployed ION software in UAT system for global client testing. After client testing was concluded, software was deployed in production on both ION hosted and client-hosted sites.
• Supported BCP testing for APAC exchanges such as SGX, KHEXetc.
