Graduate Apprentice Trainee
Currently working at the Aircraft Research and Design Centre (ARDC), contributing to the structural design and analysis of various critical subsystems for combat and next-generation aircraft. Responsibilities include:
- Performing static and dynamic structural analysis of components such as landing gear assemblies, pylons, and Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) frames, ensuring compliance with airworthiness requirements and safety standards.
- Evaluating and maintaining Reserve Factors (RF) across structural components to meet design loads, durability requirements, and operational conditions.
- Supporting the design process through finite element modeling (FEM) and simulation using industry-standard tools such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, and HyperMesh.
- Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to optimize structural designs for weight reduction while maintaining structural integrity and performance.
- Contributing to the development of next-generation aircraft platforms by analyzing integration effects and structural interactions between airframe and mission systems.
- Ensuring alignment with military aviation standards and contributing to continuous improvement in structural analysis methodologies and best practices.
