During observership at the pediatric ward in Margate, East Kent, I gained valuable insight into the UK healthcare system and the operations of NHS Trusts. I contributed to maternal counseling on newborn care, vaccinations, breastfeeding, and child development, while also observing the management of various pediatric conditions, including asthma exacerbations, epilepsy, febrile seizures, eating disorders, self-harm, schizophrenia, transient tachypnea of newborns, premature care, bronchiolitis, and leukemia.
