Project: Experian Decode VIN (EVD)

Technologies: Java, RESTful API, AWS Glue, DB2, Redis, EventBridge, ECS, and S3.

• Designed and developed a high-performance engine to decode incoming VINs for Vehicle History Reports (VHR), supporting batch processing with customizable input/output formats (e.g., Vehicle Stream, ESP, NP Process).
• Transitioned from jar-based applications to a multi-module project, implementing RESTful APIs for individual VIN processing, and CommandLineRunner for bulk VIN handling.
• Automated workflows using AWS EventBridge to trigger ECS containerized batch jobs upon file placement in S3 buckets.
• Extracted data from DB2 using AWS Glue jobs and optimized data storage in Redis for faster processing.

• Supported and enhanced batch and UI applications for processing consumer disputes (AUD, ACDV, and Carbon Copies).
• Upgraded Struts-based applications to a microservices architecture for improved scalability.
• Conducted daily production health checks and resolved production issues by executing manual fixes in the production environment.
• Automated performance testing using Locust and implemented unit and automation testing (Robot framework).
• Managed production deployments and supported JBOSS migration from version 6.4 to 7.4.3.
• Collaborated with the team on new feature enhancements, and ensured application stability.

• Developed and implemented user interfaces for mobile and web platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience and functionality using Kony Visualizer, JavaScript, and native technologies like Swift and Java.
• Integrated services using Mobile Fabric and optimized UI components, enhancing app performance and usability for key functionalities like fund transfers, account management, and timesheet entries.
• Conducted defect fixing and unit testing to improve app reliability and deliver high-quality solutions across multiple platforms, including Android, iOS, and desktop.
• Led the development of utility components and features such as offline access, multi-channel support, and task synchronization, ensuring efficient workflows and accessibility.
• Provided progress updates and collaborated with teams in agile environments, driving project completion for clients like East West Bank, TDECU, and a few internal projects.

• Designed and implemented user interfaces for Android and iOS platforms using Kony, a hybrid app development tool.
• Developed cross-platform applications supporting mobile and web functionalities for brokers in the healthcare industry, and integrated services using Kony Mobile Fabric.
• Enabled offline access to tasks via sync server integration. Improved app functionality through pre- and post-processor implementations.
• Implemented internalization features to support multi-language usage and also features like task filtering, customer signature capture, and parking coordinate mapping.
• Contributed to bug fixing, support tasks, and successful go-live activities.
