• Engineered comprehensive end-of-well documentation – tracked 24-hour well history, prepared daily operation/plug/casing/cementing reports, wellbore schematics, Non-Productive Time (NPT) summaries, and End-of-Well Reports for Plug & Abandonment operations — ensuring complete well lifecycle reporting.
• Performed advanced data management, data modeling and multi-source integration across key upstream domains — reservoir, directional drilling, time-depth, and stratigraphy datasets — through data modeling and enabling accurate well and basin-scale insights.
• Led UAT and rollout efforts for OSDU (Open Subsurface Data Universe) tools, including the Well Master Management (WMM) as primary focal, ensuring global data quality standards and deployment readiness, aligning with Shell’s digital strategy. Currently exploring data workflows in Databricks/Snowflake as part of upskilling in cloud-based data platforms.
• Delivered >98% project KPIs across multiple wells data projects/assets, by proactively identifying bottlenecks, aligning real-time data across project/corporate repositories, and collaborating cross-functionally to resolve inconsistencies in real-time well and drilling data. Contributed to design of automated reports for performance monitoring and stakeholder dashboards.
• Developed SOPs, work instructions, and QC checklists to streamline workflows for new and maturing assets – improving onboarding time and defining best practices for standardized data governance across assets.
• Drove multi-disciplinary collaboration with Geoscience, Petrophysics, Technical Documentation, Geomatics, and Seismic teams to ensure accurate, synchronized data from Oracle (CDS/EDM, OpenWorks), SAP, AWS (OSDU), and other systems.
• Analyzed rig and well equipment data to identify performance trends for process gaps, and optimization opportunities — laying groundwork for automated KPI monitoring dashboards (Spotfire/Power BI) and actionable insights delivery.
• Familiar with SQL, GitHub workflows, and visualization logic in Spotfire/Power BI. Exposure to Python and data modeling in well operations monitoring and datastore synchronisations.
• Facilitated knowledge sharing sessions on latest engineering trends, fostering culture of continuous learning among team members.
