Summary
Carry out piping engineering activities and take care of interface with Stress, CSA and Mechanical & Process. Mentoring of 3D designer’s (sp3d) team to develop the 3D Model (E3D/SP3D), basic engineering design, equipment layout piping layout and its general arrangement, isometric, support arrangement, support marking and support design by Lisega. 30%, 60% & 90% 3D Model Review as per Process P& ID and client requirements. Interact and support with other departments for detailed engineering activities. Participating in conceptual study, basic engineering design and material take off (MTO) for tendering and bidding stages and estimation of bulk piping or first stage MTO from P&ID. Take care of Piping Support design (primary and secondary) and its selection (Guide, springs, strut, and snubbers). Participates in vendor meetings, reviews of vendor data/drawings as well as specifications. Review of Civil Structural & Foundation Drawing Review with respect to Layout Requirement and interfaces. Preparation and checking of detail design deliverables, e.g. piping isometrics, piping and equipment GA, support design standard. Very good and in-depth Knowledge of support selection from supplier catalogues or tools like LICAD and providing inputs to special supports and spring hangers. Field engineering support during construction, if required. Basic knowledge of stress analysis and depth knowledge of pipe supports.
