Activities & Responsibilities :

• Configure and define parameters for installation or testing of local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), hubs, routers, switches, controllers,access, WiFi points, multiplexers, or related networking equipment.
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.Installing new software. Installing new hardware (servers, printers, computer work stations etc). Setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords. Overseeing security of all systems, especially the internet. Fixing network faults. Technical support for people using the network. Training staff on new systems. Suggesting IT solutions to business problems. Implement and support the campus email system; recommend design changes. Assist with backup and granular restore support of Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Outlook, Web Access and Microsoft Active Directory servers.
• Plan and manage CCTV systems and projects of work, involving CCTV application or CCTV infrastructure. Installs, operates and repairs technical surveillance equipment. Responsible for performing all technical work with installing, repairing, maintaining and training in the use of all associated surveillance equipment.
